Today, I embarked on a half-day tour of Auckland's attractions and museum, only to discover the museum was closed for renovations. However, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a visit to the art gallery instead, which turned out to be a delightful alternative. As this was my first experience in Auckland during the winter, I had been warned about the chilly weather. Ironically, on the day of my tour, the skies opened up, bringing heavy rain and strong winds. My tour guide, Sam, was incredibly apologetic about the weather conditions and went above and beyond to ensure that I had an enjoyable experience. He provided me with an umbrella and even took the initiative to show me a few additional sites that weren't part of the original itinerary, showcasing his flexibility and creativity. I truly appreciated Sam's ability to adapt to the circumstances, and his efforts made the tour memorable. For his ingenuity and accommodating nature, I would wholeheartedly rate this tour five stars.
