Heritage & Film History: Discover Kazimierz, the former ghetto and Plaszow on our Schindler's List Tour with a Dutch guide. Krakow, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1978, is rich in history from Nazi occupation to Soviet control. Explore the most important locations and film sets of Schindler's List with us. We visit Plaszow concentration camp, including the memorial, film props and the commandant's villa. Our guide will share behind-the-scenes film insights. Afterwards, we will walk to Schindler's Factory and see part of the original ghetto wall. Crossing Plac Bohutera, the old ghetto entrance, we will explore the Jewish district of Kazimierz, where much of the film was shot. After about 4 hours, we say goodbye in Kazimierz. Visit the Remuh Synagogue or Schindler's Factory on your own or join DutchPoint Kraków for a drink!

5.00Very nice, interesting tour with variety of sights with variety of greenery and the city itself. Lots of opportunity to ask questions. You will see a lot of the city of Krakow and learn about its history.

5.00Impressive! Although this is not such a well-known camp, it is absolutely not less worth visiting. The guide told a lot, knows a lot and told with feeling. This made the experience even more special. It is a lot and a long walk, so be prepared for that.

5.00Via DutchPoint Krakow we did the Schindler's List walk and visited Auschwitz. It really is an added value to be able to visit these impressive places in your own language. Guide Wesley gave a huge amount of information, which he told in a very respectful way.

5.00We were brought to the scene by bus. Wesley then took us on foot through the domain where the film Schindler’s ruse was filmed. That was also great well explained and a nice change, lots of nature. Wesley explained the domain very well and said that what was shown in the film was not all correct. He showed us what it had been like in reality. Gruesome yes, but very interesting. We are going to watch the film again but with different eyes. Great!
