Kampong Phluk Floating Village
Walk through the village and admire its impressive stilt houses, some standing more than 8 meters above the ground. Learn about the daily lives of local families, visit the village school and pagoda (when accessible), and discover how residents rely on fishing and agriculture throughout the year. 10:45 AM – Traditional Boat Cruise Board a traditional wooden boat for a relaxing cruise through the village canals toward Tonle Sap Lake. Watch local fishermen at work, floating homes, and children traveling by boat as you experience the unique lifestyle of Cambodia's largest freshwater lake. 11:30 AM – Flooded Mangrove Forest (Seasonal) During the wet season (approximately June–January), cruise through the enchanting flooded mangrove forest. Guests may also choose an optional small paddle boat ride operated by local villagers for a closer look at this peaceful natural environment.

5.00Wow today was so beautiful on Tonle Sap with our awesome tour guide. We saved the best till last and it was totally amazing. Feed on the floating villages followed by a beautiful sun set on the lake.. the best finale to my trip I could have asked for! I loved it!

Although we visited during the period where the village was not "floating" we still had an excellent time.

5.00Mr theara is a funny and easy going guy. We booked his service from 23/10 to 26/10. For the first day he got his niece to pick us from airport then check in hotel and we went for a sunset cruise. He managed to arrange a private cruise for us, it is such a great time we spent there. Next day we travel from Phnom Penh to siem reap and he met us there. He brought us to floating village and at first we thought we will miss the sunset but he manage to let us see the sunset during the boat riding. Really super nice view! The next day we went to Angkor wat and he help us took lot of nice pictures! He is super good in taking photo. Also he explain the history of Angkor wat… night time he brought us for a nice meal at local street.. love it! Overall we love his service and strongly recommend him to others who will want to travel to Cambodia!
