Absolutely outstanding! Top-notch crew and captain, yummy food and drinks, and a truly incredible wildlife viewing day! Major Marine Tours was professional from top to bottom. The captain and crew were friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to be around. The boat was not overcrowded, and the captain did an amazing job maneuvering the boat to provide optimal viewing on all sides. We had an extremely lucky day at sea! Calm water, low wind, and wildlife galore. This is a must-see for Kenai Fjords and beyond. Worth every penny and will recommend to anyone I know coming to Alaska.

This was a fantastic trip. The crew was wonderful and the captain gave a great tour. The food and drink options were great and our seats were comfortable and had a great view. Part of our group got very seasick during the Gulf part of the trip, but the crew was well-prepared to handle that and so kind throughout the experience. We'd love to take this tour again.

This tour was amazing! We not only got to see one of the huge glaciers in the area, as well as multiple different orca, sea lion, puffin, mountain goat, humpback whale and porpoise sightings. The crew was so friendly and knowledgeable too. Highly recommend!

This boat tour was one of the highlights of our Alaska vacation, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Seward area. The tour departs from the Harbor 360 Hotel in Seward. We were advised that summer road construction could significantly increase the drive time from Anchorage, turning the usual 2-hour trip into as much as 3 to 4 hours. Fortunately, we encountered no delays and arrived in just over two hours. Check-in was quick and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that seating was assigned. There was no need to rush aboard to claim a good spot. We were assigned a table on the lower deck and enjoyed sharing it with a friendly family from Colorado. Our captain was outstanding. Her informative and engaging commentary throughout the cruise made the experience both educational and entertaining. Wildlife sightings began almost immediately. As we left the harbor, we spotted a bald eagle perched nearby. Soon afterward, we came across a sea otter floating peacefully on its back, seemingly enjoying the sunshine. As the cruise continued, we were treated to an incredible variety of wildlife. We saw mountain goats perched on impossibly steep cliffs, making me wonder whether their hooves come equipped with suction cups! We watched porpoises racing alongside the boat, humpback whales surfacing in the distance, sea lions lounging on rocky outcrops, and colorful horned puffins flying overhead. The absolute highlight of the trip was getting up close to the magnificent Holgate Glacier. Standing before such a massive wall of ice was awe-inspiring and a powerful reminder of the beauty and scale of nature. A word of caution: the waters can become quite choppy. If you are prone to motion sickness, be sure to take preventive measures before boarding. My wife unfortunately became seasick during the trip and was ill several times. Thankfully, the crew was exceptionally kind and attentive, providing her with ginger and Dramamine and checking on her throughout the cruise. Despite that setback, we all had a wonderful time. Between the spectacular glacier views, abundant wildlife, and excellent crew, this was an unforgettable experience and one I would gladly do again.

We had great weather, which helped make it a great experience, but I think it would have been fantastic either way. We saw whales, otters, harbor seals, and lots of birds. We held a piece of the glacier and had glacier ice margaritas :)

This cruise was nothing short of spectacular. The wildlife was enchanting. We will make this cruise a habit for every time we visit Alaska. The crew was kind and hard working. There’s essentially nothing bad I can say about this cruise.
