Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau

5.00My friend and I booked a private tour to Kraków & Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp in February. We had Marcin as our tour guide and driver, who has been brilliant throughout the journey. He allowed for sufficient time for a brief tour of Kraków before heading to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp. Marcin provided some helpful historical narration, particularly on the latter whilst leaving us with enough room for us to process our thoughts at a place that represented a dark phase in history. My friend and I appreciated Marcin's service and company - we had some interesting conversations along the way and he is a very personable guide. It was a long drive home, and he managed to make it back ahead of schedule!

5.00This may have been a heavy day but as an avid student of history it was well the effort and a memorable learning experience. My guide Martin was exceptionally knowledgeable in Poland's history and I learned a lot from him. He also went the extra mile in customizing my tour to include a request visit to Schindler's Museum. I would strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Poland. So whether your interests are cultural, political or historical, ask for Martin.
