Jessica Coppola was our tour guide for the colosseum and everything surrounding it. She was wonderful , highly recommend , she loved her job and it showed in her knowledge and enthusiasm. Great tour

Christina was our guide and she was fantastic! She kept the 5 children engaged on this tour the whole time... playing games and telling stories. Wish we had more time with her. Highly recommend!

Brian was a great tour guide. Sean, the owner was helpful and insightful about the area and how to get around, recommended restaurants which were all great. In a city where you not sure who to trust these are guys are very trustworthy.

We got super lucky, no one else had booked at the same time so we ended up with a private tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Our guide Brian was fantastic and truly represented for us the history behind the experience of attending an event during the height of the Roman Empire. We did have a hard time finding the "tourist info" meeting point, however, but the operator called me on my cell and helped guide us to where we needed to be.

We got super lucky, no one else had booked at the same time so we ended up with a private tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Our guide Brian was fantastic and truly represented for us the history behind the experience of attending an event during the height of the Roman Empire.

We did have a hard time finding the tourist info meeting point, however, but the operator called me on my cell and helped guide us to where we needed to be.

Really good experience. Our guide Christina had a degree in archeology and knew her topic really well. Also answered lots of Rome related questions. Small group of 8, no headset required and all the better for it.
Colosseum itself is stunning, as is the Forum

Guide Anthony - tour rushed. Did not take elderly patrons into consideration in terms of mobility. Audio equipment not provided. Tour far from enjoyable. His knowledge was questionable. We left tour to continue on our own. I had been there previous month..Far superior tour provided by other guide.

Many thanks to him, Shaun for making the arrangements and Osman for originally telling us about City Lights Tours. I have no hesitation in recommending them and will use City Lights when we next return to Rome

Excellent tour. We were in a small group of 12 plus our guide Fredericka, who was first class in every way. She was extremely knowledgeable and very interesting. The tour was conducted at the right pace for the Group and everyone appeared to really enjoy the experience. Sean, who assisted in the admin of the tour even sprinted off to get us some water before we went into the Forum.
Would I recommend - yes definitely.

Tour guide Mario and his crew were welcoming and well organised. They are all true ambassadors for Rome ( though not all local) and help make you feel you're in good hands. Mario's ability to bring the history alive in front of you helped summarise centuries. Book them today!
