This hike was definitely the highlight of our trip and is an unmissable experience for anyone travelling to Fiji. This a moderate hike up to a stunning waterfall with amazing views of the mountains and forest. Our guide Freddy was really knowledgeable letting us know all about the local flora and fauna as well as the history of the local area over the last 2000 years. This is the best way to see "the real Fiji" and I would 100% recommend this to anyone with a spare day during your travels.

Honestly, this was one of the best hikes I have been on thanks to Freddie our hiking guide. He had so much knowledge of everything around us and taught us so much. He was so passionate and caring when it came to everything he said or did. I would definitely recommend doing this hike the waterfalls were absolutely stunning and so refreshing to swim in.

Freddie was very helpful and explained different type of plants. Hiking for the view and waterfall was well worth it! The hiking route is moderate but I really enjoyed the route to the waterfall and back! I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of hiking! Well worth the money for 6 hours from pick up to drop off!

We had a fun and adventure filled day with Freddie, hiking the mountains and seeing waterfalls. Freddie made sure we were well taken cared of. He picked us up and dropped off at the hotel, drove safely, and brought snacks and water for us during breaks. He was also very informative. Telling us about birds, plants and history around the place. He even surprised us with a detour to the waterfall while hiking which made the trip even more memorable! Highly recommended for those who want to see another beautiful side of Fiji, away from the sand and the beach.

Freddie was an amazing guide ... Giving us so much information about the vegetation and edible plants, showing us how they were used for medicine and hygiene. We did the medium walk to the waterfall, stopping frequently to learn about the plants around us. The waterfall was great, we waded into the water which was cool and refreshing after the hike there. The snacks provided were tasty. On the way back to our hotel, Freddie stopped to get us fresh coconuts to try. It was an awesome way to spend the morning/afternoon.

Great views led by a very knowledgeable guide describing the nature and history of Fiji. We did a moderate level hike but there are beginner to advanced hikes available which your guide can take you on. But most importantly, we felt safe.

Freddie was one of the most genuine people I’ve met. His stories, knowledge and personable character made it so easy to get along with him on the hike. Probably one of the best hikes I’ve been on simply because of the company we had.

We had the best time on our hike! Vinaka to Alfy for being the best guide. The hike was well worth it to reach the waterfall. Alfy helped us feel secure for each step and we had so much fun. Lunch was delicious and so cool to eat right next to the waterfall. You'll see beautiful landscapes, plants, villages, and people of Fiji along the way. 10/10 recommend and we can't wait to come back to do it again. Vinaka Alfy!!

I had a wonderful experience with Freddie on the Koroyanitu Hike. He was very knowledgeable and entertaining as I was traveling solo. It was great to experience the mountains of Fiji with Freddie pointing out wild turmeric, ginger, guava, soursop, and herbal remedies while discussing the history of several villages and tribes. The hike itself was beautiful and not difficult. Even made a friend along the way. Freddie worked hard to make sure I had a good experience. Even got down on one knee so I could see a parrot in the trees! Heard a lot birds but most of them were being shy. I'm looking forward to returning to Fiji and signing up for more excursions with Fascination Fiji.
