Enjoy an action-packed full-day journey from Hobart, offering breathtaking perspectives both above and below ground. Begin with a treetop adventure at the Tahune Airwalk, where a suspended walkway rises up to 40 metres above the forest floor, delivering sweeping views over the canopy and the Huon River. If you prefer something more relaxed, there are also easy walking options at ground level.
The journey continues to Hastings Caves Reserve, where you’ll join a guided tour through remarkable underground caverns, descending deep below the surface. Afterwards, unwind with a refreshing swim in the natural thermal springs.
Highlights of the experience include visiting the Tahune Airwalk Forest Reserve, strolling along the cantilever section high above the ground, and discovering Tasmania’s ancient trees on the Huon Pine Walk. For those seeking more adventure, cross the river via the Swinging Bridges Walk.

Provider did not show up, the trip never happened. I waited for an hour at the pickup location early morning and they did not even inform or respond to our calls. Very very unprofessional provider never booking any tour from them again

Our tour guide Steven gave us a lovely full day experience. He was friendly and drove us around safely. We loved Tahune airwalk, it was a great experience. The small tour group was good for our 4 member family.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was honestly unacceptable and potentially unsafe. Our tour to Cradle Mountain was a complete disaster from start to finish. The driver/guide arrived late, and after picking up four participants, we were already an hour behind schedule. To make matters worse, the vehicle looked like a regular rental car with no tour company branding whatsoever—hardly reassuring for a paid tour. About an hour into the journey, the driver’s GPS stopped working, and he had to borrow a participant’s phone to navigate. There was also zero communication or commentary throughout the drive, which made the experience feel unprofessional and disorganised. The first stop was Cataract Gorge—something that was never part of the itinerary. We were told to have breakfast at Basin Cafe (also not listed in the itinerary) and spend as much time as we wanted there. When we questioned this, the driver called the company and it became clear he was trying to manage two tours at the same time. Shockingly, one participant was left behind while the rest of us continued to Cradle Mountain. The breakfast stop itself was disappointing—Basin Cafe had no proper meal options, just coffee and cakes. We were never informed that this would be our only food stop until dinner. On top of that, there were no proper restroom breaks until we reached Cradle Mountain around 1pm. At Cradle Mountain, we were told to join another group for the hike. After 3.5 hours, the second guide wanted to leave, even though we had originally been told we’d have 5 hours to explore. Three of us had to insist on staying back to continue on our own while waiting for our original driver to return—who, unsurprisingly, was late again. The disorganisation continued into the evening. The driver didn’t even know where our dinner (included in the itinerary) was supposed to be until a participant entered it into the GPS for him. We only arrived at the Empire Hotel Deloraine restaurant around 7:30pm, and he then left us there to pick up the other participant from Swiss Village, which was 45 minutes away. He didn’t return until 9:20pm. We finally arrived back in Hobart at 12:30am—completely exhausted and frustrated. We had to miss the drive by Derwent River (it was pitch dark) and the visit to Ross Female Factory (which was also part of the itinerary). To top it off, we later found out this was the driver’s very first tour. He had simply been handed a car and told to proceed because other drivers were on leave. His English was limited, which made communication even more difficult. The company had clearly combined two tours without informing either the driver or the participants. This level of mismanagement is unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of professionalism, planning, and regard for customer safety. The company should have cancelled the tour rather than run it this way. I strongly advise others to avoid this tour operator.
