The Embrace
Our Tour begins at the Embrace, A recent statue commemorating Martin Luther King, jr and his wife Coretta Scott King. The Embrace is located right next to the Boston Common Visitor Information Center at 139 Tremont Street, Boston MA.

Welcome to the seat of Massachusetts state government! Known for its golden dome, the "new" Massachusetts State House has a long history in our city, starting with Samuel Adams laying the cornerstone in 1795!

5.00Guide was very knowledgeable. The tour went at a good pace. The only thing that I was disappointed with was that because the tour included the USS Constitution we thought we'd be going over to the ship. We only go to see it from across the water. It was a nice view but not what we were expecting,

5.00Our tour guide was Rob Crean with Boston History Company and he did a great job! We took our 11-year and 9-year old and he kept them engaged the entire 2.5 hours with interesting stories of the history throughout the area as we walked about on the tour. Highly recommended!

5.00Really enjoyed the experience with Rob Crean as our guide! It was a hot day but he still led the tour full of energy and gusto! Great mix of history and humor while leading a large group. Saw a lot and learned a lot with still time in the day to spare!

5.00The tour was fantastic, well presented and with lots of really interesting facts. Perhaps slightly more suited to those who know a bit about US history as opposed to those who are unfamiliar with it. Rob Crean was a great guide, very engaging and enthusiastic which created a vibrant atmosphere.
