Witnessing the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean is a truly memorable experience in Algarve. Next, we visit Almádena Fort, a 17th-century military structure historically used to monitor the coastline from Sagres to the Bay of Lagos. Our journey then takes us to Boca do Rio Beach in Vila do Bispo. Here, we explore the remains of an ancient Roman villa, including mosaic fragments. No visit to the Algarve would be complete without stopping at the historic Sagres, home to Portugal’s legendary explorers that provides a stunning view over the majestic Atlantic Ocean.
