The Ocoee River formed naturally without any of the undercuts or sieves present in most waterways. For our rafters that means we can push the boundaries of what a non-professional can experience. At OAR we train for longer then any other company. We are also the only company that requires each guide to complete an EMR certification as well as a Swiftwater Rescue class. This enables us to confidently do things on the water other companies can't and take guests that other companies won't.

What To Expect
With all equipment and transportation to-and-from river provided, this 3.5 hour trip is convenient for all group ages 12 and up! Never been rafting before? No problem! Our highly trained guides will teach you and your crew all the whitewater rafting techniques and safety skills you need for your adventure. With five miles of class III and IV rapids, the Middle Ocoee River provides excitement and challenge for any group. Whether you’re feeling nervous or daring, whether you just want to stay in the boat or you want a wild ride, our guides can customize your whitewater rafting trip to fit your needs. 5.00What an incredible full-day adventure! We spent the entire day on the river with "Captain Chaz," and it was hands-down one of the most fun experiences rafting we've ever had. From the moment we launched, Chaz's enthusiasm, expertise, and positive energy made the trip unforgettable. The rapids were absolutely gnarly - in the best possible way! Every run was packed with excitement, adrenaline, and laughter. Chaz knew exactly how to navigate the river while keeping everyone safe, confident, and having an amazing time. What truly sets Chaz apart is his passion for what he does. He made us feel like old friends and shared his knowledge of the river with genuine enthusiasm. By the end of the day, we were already talking about when we could come back. If Chaz is your guide, you're in for an epic adventure. We would follow Chaz to any river, anywhere. 5.00Most of the time, getting a group of excited teens to agree on anything is impossible—let alone getting them to paddle a rubber boat in the same direction. But within five minutes of stepping into our raft, Hugh had us operating like a finely tuned machine. I had never been white water rafting before in my life, but Hugh took our crew of five teenagers and instantly turned us into a synchronized, high-functioning team. He didn't just give orders; he figured out exactly how to make us click. We went from a bunch of uncoordinated rookies to a crew that felt like we could conquer any wave on the map, all thanks to his leadership. The absolute peak of the trip was "riding the bull." Sitting right on the very nose of the raft, holding onto that rope with nothing but raging water in front of you, is one of the most intense adrenaline rushes you will ever have. But that’s the genius of Hugh: even though your heart will be hammering at a million miles an hour, you know you'll be totally fine. He possesses this incredible ability to make an experience feel crazily exciting, while quietly keeping everything 100% safe and under control from the back of the boat. Hugh is absolutely the best guide on the water. If you want to experience the ultimate rush, feel what it’s like to be part of an unstoppable team, and make it back to the shore in one piece, demand Hugh. If Hugh isn't available, go home and look at photos of water instead. To the company: give this man a raise, a throne, or at least a statue made entirely of paddles Outdoor Adventure Rafting is positioned in a beautiful location and will meet every dream of your first white water experience. These folks are the BEST!! Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

5.00What a blast! Perfect for birthday bash: Only $37 for energy-packed, 2-hour river ride with beautiful scenery on both sides. Safe, yet heart-thumping adventure combining upper-body workout and top-of-the-lungs shouting/screaming. Our group consisted of 6 rafts with about 6 people per raft. Big enough for competition, but not enough to slow down the team. The rafting experience was 50% dependent on how experienced, coordinated, and downright funny our guide was. ASK FOR HUGH as your boat guide! Hoo-Yah!

5.00This was our first time whitewater rafting and we had an absolute blast! We are already planning another trip in the very near future and although we don’t have any past experiences with other guide services to compare OAR with, they will most certainly be the guide service for us when we return. Everyone at OAR went above and beyond to make sure that my family and I had a great time on and off the water.

5.00I highly recommend Oar Adventure Rafting! We had an exciting, adventure-filled day rafting down the beautiful Ocoee River. The scenery was incredible, and the rapids provided just the right mix of thrills and fun. Our guide, Tito, was outstanding. He kept us entertained with great commentary throughout the trip, made us feel safe and confident on the river, and added so much energy and enthusiasm to the experience. His knowledge, sense of humor, and professionalism made the trip truly memorable. If you're looking for an unforgettable rafting adventure, Oar Adventure Rafting is the way to go! We will definitely be using them again.
