The Duomo, an iconic landmark built across six centuries, is among the four largest cathedrals in Europe.
During the two-hour guided tour, you’ll explore the cathedral’s artistic and architectural highlights and learn how its development connects with Milan’s history. Admire its Gothic details, along with numerous paintings and statues. Your guide will share legends linked to the Duomo and reveal pagan elements such as zodiac symbols.
You’ll also visit the underground crypt beneath the altar, where Archbishop Carlo Borromeo’s centuries-old tomb rests. Then ride the lift to the rooftop for panoramic views of the city. Optionally, add a 2-day Open Bus ticket to continue exploring Milan.

A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women.
It is FORBIDDEN to introduce inside Duomo food, liquids, knifes, ceramic mugs and everything that can be used as blunt weapon.
Kindly consider that after the elevator, there are around 75 stairs in order to reach the top of the Cathedral, and back down at the end of the tour
On hot days, we recommend wearing a hat, applying sunscreen, and bringing a bottle of water to stay protected and hydrated during the tour.
If you selected the Open Bus Ticket, please show your voucher at the bus stop in Piazza Duomo, in front of the taxi stand. Look for the MILAN OPEN TOUR bus.

5.00It was beautiful to see Duomo, few things to keep on mind; taking early group tour would be better due to hot and humid weather in Milan. The audio was not working properly with the guide trying his best to make it work! The guide was good explaining all the details in spite of audio issues. It is must visit place.

5.00It was a very hot day so skipping the line of people waiting to go up to the rooftop was well worth booking this tour beforehand. The guide was excellent with an enormous amount of knowledge. He was easy going and explained what we coming up in the tour. He kept our group all together and in the shade as much as possible which was appreciated. The meeting spot worked well but you need to ask which tour is the one you booked with as a couple of tours met at the same location. Great 2 hours.

5.00Good tour, filled with information, we did the rooftop but it was incredibly overcrowded with hundreds and hundreds of people who could barely walk, so trying to go down 18 flights of stairs literally took hours. And there is no clear areas to get pictures from the rooftop, so would recommend skipping the rooftop unless it’s a bucket list item.

3.00The tour guide arrived late at the meeting point. There was a hurried movement on the roof due to the large group. The smaller travelers' groups were combined into one larger group. There was insufficient time for you to take photographs or to enjoy the view.
