This tour is an absolute gem! I have kayaked in mangroves before, but never had the chance to explore their heart and be surrounded by such magnificent trees. The scenery was breathtakingly serene. Beyond the activities, our guide Nasri was very attentive and helpful. When my mom suffered knee pain, he kindly stopped at his house on the way to get a patch for her. We also enjoyed visiting his aunt’s village home, which gave us a glimpse into the simple yet joyful life of local villagers. The beachside lunch, cooked by Nasri’s wonderful mother, featured local seafood and specialties—it was absolutely delicious! This trip had my mom talking about it for days. We truly appreciate the kindness shown by Nasri and his family. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Koh Yao Yai.

Communication before the pick up was clear and Nas was on time. He was caring, thoughtful and attentive throughout. He assisted where needed but allowed the experience to be uninterrupted joy. He shared knowledge and stories both fact and humour. The visit to his Auntie and the village for coconut was just the right amount of time. The beach for lunch was unspoilt beauty. The food was plentiful and superb. It was most definitely worth the early start. Seeing the monkeys was brilliant and the planting of the seeds to grow trees was a naturally ethical touch
