都会の中心部にあるワイナリーを訪れることはめったにありません。バークレーには、約 20 年前からいわゆる「都市型ワイナリー」が存在します。これらの生産者は独自のブドウ畑を所有していませんが、北カリフォルニア全土のブドウ栽培者と直接協力しています。
私はワインとワイナリーの選択について非常に厳選していることに注意することが重要です。州内には何千ものワイナリーがあるが、小規模で高級ワイン志向の生産者の多くは大規模な工業経営によって無視されている。私は真の職人を擁護し、中小企業をサポートしたいと思っています。

What To Expect
バークレーの有名な都市ワイナリーでの農業、ヴィンテージのバリエーション、伝統的なワイン造りの実践について話し合いながら、ワインのニュアンスを理解する方法を学びましょう。立ち入り禁止のトピックはなく、基本的な質問もありません。私の目標は、地元で作られたおいしいワインを紹介し、ワインについて自分の言葉で議論するために必要な語彙を提供することです。できればレストランのソムリエと会話できるくらいに慣れてほしいと願っています。各ワイナリーで約 1 時間かけてワインをテイスティングします。軽食も含まれます。 （ベジタリアンの方も大歓迎です） 親密でパーソナライズされた体験を可能にするため、各ツアーのゲストは 6 名のみです。私たちが訪問するワイナリーはすべて、屋外または優れた換気を備えており、犬にも優しいです。バークレーの夜は冷え込むことがありますので、寒さに敏感な方は上着をご持参ください。 ご希望のスケジュールに合った曜日や時間が見つからない場合は、ご都合のよい日時を探しますので、お気軽にメッセージください。

5.00We had so much fun drinking wine in the wine ghetto of Berkeley! She took us to two different wineries and loved both of them. It was great to learn about wine from someone who is clearly such an expert. Definitely recommend!

5.00We went on one of Elisabeth’s tours in Napa and liked it so much that we decided to book this Berkeley experience since we are close by in the south bay. It was another great experience, we had delicious wines and it was really cool to explore the winery district in the middle of a city!

5.00I live in the East Bay and had no idea there were wineries in Berkeley! I was looking for something fun to do for my friend's birthday and am so glad I found this experience. Elisabeth was very welcoming and helpful and we had a blast trying the wines made locally. We are definitely going to check out her offerings up in Napa.
