From here, follow scenic seaside trails to the unspoiled Baia delle Orte, a quiet bay of crystal-clear water where you can enjoy a refreshing swim and a relaxing coffee break right by the sea.
Continue along the cliffs to the historic Torre del Serpe, a medieval watchtower wrapped in local legend and offering sweeping views over the Adriatic.
Your hike ends in the charming coastal town of Otranto, where you’ll have free time to explore the old town, visit the famous Cathedral with its 12th-century mosaic floor, swim, shop, or enjoy fresh seafood. When you're ready, your private taxi will bring you comfortably back to Lecce.

5.00Marco went above and beyond to make our day in Salento unforgettable. From the moment we met him, it felt less like a tour and more like travelling with a friend who happened to have incredible local knowledge. He introduced us to fantastic Puglian food and took us to stunning spots along the Adriatic coast that we never would have discovered on our own. The day was perfectly paced, with beautiful swims during our hike and later in Otranto, where we had free time to enjoy lunch, explore the town, and relax at the beach. Along the way, Marco shared fascinating stories about the history, culture, and traditions of the region, which made the experience even more special. We feel incredibly lucky to have booked this tour. Not only did Marco show us some of the natural beauty that makes Salento so unique, but he also gave us excellent recommendations that helped us make the most of the rest of our stay in Lecce. 5.00So much fun! Learned a lot and laughed a lot. Marco is the best! He made the learning part fun and interesting and led us on an absolutely gorgeous hike to Otranto (photos don’t do it justice!). He was flexible and accommodating. And he is funny. We had opportunities to take a dip in the water on the way, had delicious food and ended the day relaxing on the beach in Otranto. Highly recommend!

5.00Wonderful experience and we really enjoyed the hike with Marco. The scenery was beautiful with the spring flowers and we were able to stop and enjoy the beautiful views at several points and ended the hike in Otranto. Would definitely recommend this hike.

5.00We spent a wonderful day with Marco and Alice hiking along the coast from Punta Palascia to Otranto. Beautiful views, fresh sea air, bright sunshine and most of all, lovely people. We ended the tour with a spectacular homemade lunch at Agriturismo da Marta. Farm-to-table goodness in every bite. We even met the amazing matriarch, Marta, herself. A truly memorable day! Thank you Marco and team!!

5.00Nice excursion to experience nature and be outside. Great views. Very easy hiking on flat terrain. Otranto is lovely historic town, highlight was the cathedral's mosaic floors - wow! Visited the castle as well. Highlight for sure was lunch at a local agriturismo, fresh tasty vegetables, stuffed eggplant, pasta, the creation of which was supervised by a 94 year old nonna. Communication with operator was exceptional - as was his flexibility and planning. Logistics were very smooth.
