Come explore some of Southern Utah's most unique slot canyons!

This tour begins with a thrilling ride in a customized off-road machine leading to a slot canyon, which is privately accessed and far from any paved roads. Once at the canyon's mouth, the hike begins. The red canyon walls stretch over 100 -feet high on either side, with a gap of only 6-10 feet between the walls to hike through.

Led by a guide and local expert, the tour continues on foot through the canyon while learning about Native American history and geographical information.

This tour is specific for groups that do not desire to climb, and when the canyon gets too difficult the group will hike back to the UTV and travel to a separate slot canyon and explore the bottom section of it as well.

What To Expect

Our guide will transport you on a thrilling UTV ride to the mouth of 2 separate slot canyons. You will then hike into the slots and experience both canyons with towering walls at an arm's length. This mild tour is perfect for families with little ones and people who are not physically able to climb over rocks. In fall and winter months, be prepared for cold weather! Make sure you bring hats, gloves, coats, etc. to keep you warm while you enjoy the tour.

The slot canyon tour was outstanding! True highlight of our trip. Lonnie and John were exceptional guides. Supportive of everyone in the trip and provided just the right amount of support. Great dispositions as well. Cannot recommend them enough.

Kevin went out of his way to make sure we could see as much as our physical limitations would allow. The tour was totally great.
Fabulous adventure! We loved the bumpy ride out and sand surfing up and down the mountain on the ride out to the canyons

Our guide Lonnie was so colorful making the trek through the narrows very memorable. I would highly recommend this tour with Lonnie with so many great stories and skilled maneuvers to get over some of the difficult areas in the narrows.

If you're looking for an experience that will leave your whole group in awe, look no further. We brought a group of 17 people ranging in age from 4 to 50, and every single person had an incredible time. That alone says everything about how well this tour is designed for all ages and abilities. What truly set this experience apart were the guides. Kendra, MaCoy, and Don (along with the rest of the team) were absolutely exceptional — knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind. They made every member of our group feel welcome and safe while bringing the beauty of the canyons to life with their insight and enthusiasm. The slot canyons themselves are breathtaking, but having guides who clearly love what they do made it feel intimate rather than like a crowded tourist attraction. We didn't want it to end. Every minute was worth it. Highly, highly recommend East Zion Adventures to anyone visiting Utah — whether you're bringing little ones, grandparents, or everyone in between. This was a highlight of our trip and a memory we'll carry for a long time.

Mark is very knowledgeable. He pointed out landmarks, wildlife, and the history of the area. We had an amazing time and he took amazing pictures of us in the slots. It’s was perfect UTV trip length for 2 hours. The crowds were very minimal and it added to the personal experience.

John was our tour guide. He was very nice and passionate about what he does. He was very friendly. The jeep ride to the slot canyons was fun. John pointed out cactus that were flowering along the way. I really enjoyed seeing the Red Rock Slot canyon. It was absolutely awe inspiring. We were with one other group so there was only 10 of us, and this was very nice. I felt like it was a more personal tour. John was knowledgeable about the history of the canyon and the geological creation of the canyon. The actual hiking was short, less than 1/2 mile between the two canyons, but the views were spectacular. Be sure to leave enough time to get coffee at the coffee shop. It was truly swinging above its weight class!!
