• Amazing boat ride with Captain Alex

  We had an amazing experience on the Fiordland Jet, and a huge part of that was thanks to our captain, Alex. From the moment we boarded, she made everyone feel welcome and comfortable, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere throughout the ride. Alex's knowledge of the landscape was exceptional. After we sped through the stunning scenery, she shared fascinating insights about the area's geography, and natural features in a way that was both informative and engaging. As one part of the ride was a Lord of the Rings film point, she stopped and explained about it, making me want to watch the marvellous movie. Her explanations also helped us appreciate the beauty of the lake and river even more, and it was clear that she was understood the place well and was very knowledgeable about it. What I feel was the best, however, was her kindness to me. After every 360 degree spin, Alex would check in on me to make sure I was doing well and enjoying the experience. The combination of breathtaking scenery, an exciting jet boat ride, and Alex's outstanding hospitality made this an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend Fiordland Jet to anyone visiting the area, and if you're lucky enough to have Alex as your captain, you're in for a fantastic time!

  What a fabulous experience! The team that took care of us today were lovely; from checking us in, providing us with extra jackets, gloves, scarves, glasses, (and whatever a neck thingy is!) - they ensured we were warm and well prepared for the adventure ahead. And it was a GREAT adventure. Sean is a super guide; his laid back style, coupled with care and attention and his detailed knowledge ensures you have a truly memorable trip. Disembarking mid trip to walk through nature forest was very special. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

  We were with our tour group, had choice of this vs glowworms - of course, we picked the jet boat - we wanted fun, excitement, and adventure! Alex, our guide, was the BEST! She really made this whole experience quite memorable. She gave us facts and information along the way, with a few 360s to keep the excitement going.   Fun, Informative, Friendly!!! The ride was exhilarating and beautiful. Alex was our driver, she was friendly, fun and very informative. Would absolutely do it again. The river and the lake were beautiful. They provided warm jackets and hoodies.

  It was so great. The tour guide was wonderful knew so much about the place. Great driving. The jet spins were great to. Water was wonderful. The tour guide also knew so much about the wee walk we went on to. So great 5 stars.

  My fiance and I walked up to inquire about a tour. Lucy was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we could go on the tour in 20 minutes, just so we wouldn't have to wait around until the afternoon tour. The tour itself was amazing. I think Shane was our driver. He was a ton of fun and extremely informative. Great guide to have. He was able to get to know the group to make it more of a personalized experience as well. I would have given 5 stars..but after the tour we were back at the office using the wifi for a bit to decide what to do next. We overheard the owner of the company yelling at all the employees, saying they weren'tdoing good enough. All the employees we had just seen working so hard, and giving everyone a great experience...and he was being so rude to them I thought it must've been a joke at first. They should have been treated better.

  Alex our operator was amazing! It was super fun and she was very knowledgeable and catered to what our group wanted. It was everything I wanted and she helped make it an unforgettable experience.

  We had an awesome time with Alex. She was so fun, informative and skilled with the jet boat. She engaged super well with everyone, you couldn't ask for better. Better keep her on, Chris! Great company, very organised and professional. All staff were friendly and helpful. Thanks for sn awesome morning!

  Beware....Your ride will NOT go through the Fjordlands. you will ride a boat to the mouth of the Fjordlands but not in .
