This tour was exactly what I hoped for—inspirational stories of women that are difficult to find in the large-scale historical centers. My tour guide, Alice, is a history teacher who made the experience captivating, personal, and safe—like a nice long walk with a good friend. I haven't stopped talking about this experience and I’ll remember it forever.

The tour was so amazing and insightful! Joey was a great guide with a good sense of humor who taught me so much about Philadelphia's history and the women who have shaped it. I would highly recommend to those looking to learn more about the city's background and some historical women they might not be aware of!

Zoe, our guide, was phenomenal- knowledgeable, passionate, and prepared. I've lived in Philly for 20 years and learned a lot. The tour was a full two hours and it flew by.

Really good alternative tour. Learned about things you wouldn't normally expect to learn on a walking tour, so well worth it, even if you're not from the LGBTQ+ community.

I grew up in Philadelphia and never learned anything Joey taught us. We were the only two people on the 2-hour walking tour. We enjoyed every second and will take all the tours this company offers. Our guide, Joe’s, was well-prepared with photos to show us. He welcomed our questions and showed us even more than promised. Highly recommend!

Great small group tour with Rebecca, who is a wonderful guide. This is a good tour for locals as well as Philly visitors and we learned a lot about lesser known, but important figures in Philly and American history. I'll be going back for some of their other tours since we live nearby and they were so friendly and knowledgeable. Meeting up to start the tour was easy and pace was not hurried.

Shawn was an excellent guide on an extremely cold New Year’s Day morning. It was great to go beyond the typical Philadelphia HIStory and learn about so many women I’d never heard of before— yay for HERstory! I especially enjoyed learning about Oney Judge and the LGBTQ activists recognized in the Gayborhood. Thank you, Shawn!

We should be calling Philly the City of Sisterly (not just Brotherly) Love, after learning about so many fascinating women. Joey was an exceptionally smart, warm, and kind tour guide. We walked for 1 hour 45 minutes around flat terrain (beware of old cobblestones though if that's an issue for you) while Joey kept us fascinated. I highly recommend this tour with a more unique twist, often overlooked, on history.
