Book our Turtle Canyon snorkel tour for some turtle fun today! Join us for an intimate experience that you will not soon forget! Our brand new 2025 boat is built to accommodate 49 passengers but we limit all of our snorkel tours to 29 passengers to ensure our guests receive the best experience possible! Our snorkel tour takes our guests to the famous Turtle Canyon to snorkel with the Hawaiian green sea turtles. All snorkel gear is provided for our snorkelers. You will be accompanied by three highly experienced in-water snorkel guides that will guide you around the reef for 50 minutes. Being a smaller group tour allows us to explore more of the reef and see the very most our reef has to offer us. All of our snorkel guides are lifeguard certified to ensure a safe snorkeling environment.

PLEASE READ!! Best way to locate our boat, please Google Maps or Apple Maps search “Island Splash Tours.” This will take you directly to our check-in pin/Boat. Please do not use the address listed on TripAdvisor, as it will direct you to the correct harbor but not to our specific boat within the harbor. Our tour takes our guests along the beautiful coast of Waikiki, where we anchor at the well-known snorkel location called Turtle Canyon. This reef is known for the abundance of Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles that come to get their shells cleaned by the surrounding reef fish. The turtles frequently come up to the surface to breathe, where they can be seen by spectators who are both in the water and relaxing on the boat. In addition to turtles, you might see other local marine life. This includes various types of reef fish, eels, octopus, urchins, rays, and dolphins. Also with a chance at seeing Humpback Whales during Dec-April. Our crew is highly experienced with guiding guests around Turtle Canyons and maximizing their experience with the wildlife. When you feel satisfied with your in-water experience, hop back onboard our boat to enjoy the sun with complimentary beverages. Our Honu are protected by the State and Federal Governments, which means that you are not allowed to touch them.

5.00Well organized. All equipment was provided. The captain and crew were very friendly and helpful. We saw lots of ses turtles and colorful fish. It was a lot of fun. Everyone in our group loved it. Definitely worth it!

Underwhelming Snorkel but Amazing Pictures

2.00When we got on the boat the crew was welcoming, all snorkel equipment was provided, and they offered a good variety of refreshments, but the experience itself was not enjoyable. You are snorkeling alongside 20+ people in your tour alone, not to mention the other tours in the same area. You have to swim to the snorkel area and it gets tiring when the water is choppy. The ‘lifeguards’ on the surf boards gave a lot of directions such as “swim forward, go over here, get away from the boat” but in our opinion were slow to help when some of us were struggling or just trying to catch our breath. If you decide to book this tour, you should be a very confident swimmer. We did get to see turtles and some fish, but it was underwhelming. One thing we do recommend about this tour is the photo package with Emma. Check out @islandsplashtours on instagram to see some of her pictures - she is extremely talented. However, we’re not sure if she works every day, so inquire beforehand if the photo package is important to you. Also, we are not sure how legitimate the 5 star ratings are. At the end of the experience, they offer a free turtle sticker in exchange for a 5 star review.
