Amazing experience! Pilot traveled from South Rim to North Rim and back to South Rim which allowed passengers sitting on either side window to see both rims directly. Smooth flight. Excellent safety procedures. Worth every penny! Knowledgeable, professional and friendly pilot. Unbelievable view...the best way to experience this magnificent National Park.

The Maverick Helicopter tour from Tusayan, AZ was highly recommended, and it did not disappoint. The trip was truly unforgettable! The views were absolutely stunning, and the moment we came over the edge to see the canyon, it took my breath away. The ride was super smooth - once we reached the canyon, it almost felt like we were floating. Our pilot (I wish I could remember his name - November 7th, 3:30pm trip.) was courteous, knowledgeable, and an excellent pilot. He shared interesting history and general facts about the Canyon throughout the flight. The ground crew was fabulous as well as they helped us in and out of the helicopter and ensured we left on time. My pictures don’t come close to capturing the beauty we saw. (Check the pictures out posted by Maverick to see the beauty of the Grand Canyon.) This was a bucket list item for me, and it did not disappoint! Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon.

I have never visited the Grand Canyon. I have never flown in a helicopter. This was my first experience for both. Pilot, Dillion, was most courteous, knowledgeable and experienced.

It was a fabulous, once-in-a lifetime experience for me. I would highly recommend it! If you’re older and have hip or knee or back issues which prevent you from walking long distances, but want to see the expanse of the canyon, and walking or horseback riding isn’t an option, this is the way to go! My only criticism would be my desire to dip down deeper into the canyon and perhaps follow the Colorado river below or dip down to see the canyon from inside for just a little bit, which might have been your success possible if I had only asked while we were up there. All-in-all, it felt like floating, was a smooth ride and wasn’t scary at all. I am so grateful for the experience!

Great tour!!! Pilot was friendly, courteous, informative and professional. Provided Map was inconsistent with actual course taken, sort of misrepresentative.
