I am an Independent Travel Agent so am always looking for tours to recommend to my clients. I struck gold with this helicopter tour from Maverick Helicopters. It not only offered twice the flying time of other operators, but the pilot was knowledgable, informative and made us all feel at ease and quite safe. We started by flying over the Kaibab National Forest and then over the South Rim which was simply jaw dropping. We could clearly see the Colorado River and got close to many of the rock formations where the colours were beautiful. We then flew to the North Rim which is higher and colder, but still incredibly dramatic, and finally over the snow fields (it was late March) before returning to base. I can honestly say this was one of my best personal experiences and a wonderful way to see the expanse and wonders of the Grand Canyon. I highly recommend and easily give 5 stars!

Family loved the flight. Our pilot was skilled and great to listen to (and engage with). This was definitely the highlight of our trip.

There is no better way to see the Grand Canyon! We enjoyed every minute of our journey. The pilot was talkative, told about his history flying as well as facts about the Grand Canyon that we didn’t know. Would highly recommend.

Next best thing to the burro ride or hiking to the bottom. Take videos as there is more than you can absorb at the time
