Our two easy riders Happy (35) and colleague (31) picked us up exactly on time at hotel. We'll ride the back of the bike to the office. After explaining our 4 day trip and backpack on the back in plastic, our journey is tied up. So with us 4 pieces including easy riders. We meet enough others along the way who make the trip. So no problem for us. First honking through Há Giang and then very quietly through the mountains. Our easy riders didn't go faster than 40 km per hour. Fine for us to enjoy nature. On some bits, maybe 35 miles an hour. After some waterfalls (still wet feet) and viewpoints we went to lunch. Extensive and delicious lunch with green tea. The easy riders went to sleep for 30 minutes after dinner. 😂 On the way a worker was half asleep on the road after too much happy drink.🍺 After a dead snake on the road we arrived at our homestay. Fortunately, a private room. Despite a frog by the toilet, toothbrush still in a cup that hasn't been cleaned in years we change to go to the falls. Arriving it was already fairly busy. Lots of youth and nice beat. After swimming for a while, but not jumping off the high rock but having a beer we return home. We were ahead of the crowds. Arriving at our homestay du gia lôlô , the frog is expertly but with a lot of hilarity removed, take a provisional shower and go downstairs for a cold beer.🍻 At 7pm we're having dinner with karaoke after this. There was a nice group of travelers from youth (German, Israelis, Belgians, Singapore to well over 30s from hongkong, Australia,) After a shower with shower gel but no towels to breakfast (luckily we had with us ourselves).. Pancakes, banana and jam and coffee with milk. Then on the motorbike for 140 km. First about a local market (no wonder we heard a lot of engines around 5.30am) We had to bring swimming gear. After many beautiful stops we arrived at bamboo rafts. The bamboo raft takes us via ropes with female strength to a cave. Here we can swim with a strong current deep into the cave. Super nice experience. Birds, the smell and the clear water. After a nice lunch in a tent with many spices on strong water we continue. We go through the mountains via a super style and narrow path. Occasionally we stand against a rock in front of an oncoming car. The road is still passable despite a lot of mud, pieces of rock. We arrive in Mèo Vac where we sleep in a hotel. The riders sleep 100 meters away in a guesthouse. Again a super small bathroom with toilet, but here towels.😁 Fortunately air conditioning and fan. At 19:00 we were picked up for a typical Vietnamese bowl. All vegetables and meat are put in a hot pan to cook. Unique experience. Black hmong chicken and snail in bamboo as extra delicacies. After dinner we walk through the center with our guides and participate in local games (throwing weighted ball through a ring at height (No score) or iron ring around bottle neck). After this we went to crochet a beer at a Karaoke bar. Around 23:00 towards hotel, because tomorrow at 08.00 we will be picked up again. Out at 07.00 as we would go to a breakfast restaurant at 08.00. Again a local market on our street. Our riders are right on time again. Our breakfast was now a choice menu. We both choose omelet with black coffee. After beautiful viewpoints we arrive at Lŭng Cú overlooking the Chinese border. A flag of 45m2 Afterwards at a place not 100 meters from the Chinese border. 6 years ago you could walk back and forth between Vietnam and China. After covid, a steel border has been installed over hundreds of km. Vietnam’s border is plastic and China’s is steel. 😂 We were on our way to lunch. Again plenty of food and a 30 minute sleep for our easy riders. After lunch we head to a place known for its silver jewelry. True artisanal blacksmith. After this, we continue on our way. On the way still received by 4 boys with traditional sapa musical instruments. A stop at the Há Giang loop was super busy. We stopped along a river to go to a homestay village afterwards. All kinds of farms with homestay. Our cottage with private toilet and shower with front door and yes a back door with mountain views. First a cold beer,..a walk and then a shower. We ate with the homestay family (mother , son girlfriend, grandchildren) and our easy drivers a delicious meal. And karaoke to finish. After a great night and a lie-in 😅 at 08.30 to breakfast. Pancakes, honey, fruit with banana. After this we drove to the caves. Walking up the many stairs in full sun at about 10.00 was a nice excercise. Soaking wet with sweat, we came up. But when even an 80-year-old grandmother was just standing there, we shouldn't whine. The cave is definitely worth it. We were the only ones with the Vietnamese family. When we went out there were already large groups (mainly youth) arriving in a sweat. 😅. We resume our trip and it remains special what they all take on the scooter. Sometimes so full that they fall over with scooters and all. Or "just" two dead cows on the back of the scooter. Coop with chickens you see a lot. After lunch we went to a waterfall. Via blubber roads, road breaks we arrived at a beautiful place. To get to the falls was still quite a job. By water, over slippery boulders with a bag that is not completely waterproof is a challenge, but it was definitely worth it. Barring 2 local guys we were the only ones. After a viewpoint about Ha Giang and where our hotel was good to see and drink we were dropped off at our hotel. Let's get a team picture. We thank our easy riders for this unique experience and their Welcoming. Was really fantastic and beautiful (also for the pictures) that we were everywhere for the crowds. Super!!!.

What an amazing adventure! We had 4 wonderful days during the Loop, our guide Hun was great! He speaks good English and is very helpful throughout the trip. He knows how to tell vewl about everything we see and tries to answer questions as best he can. He is also curious and eager to learn which has resulted in very nice conversations. Not to mention the easyriders, what a nice and sweet men they are! Very attentive with helping with your stuff and making sure you are as comfortable as possible on the back. Good helmsmanship and reading perfectly what you like and don't like. Toppers they are!

We had a very nice tour with Zin and the other easyriders. Everything was well taken care of and the accommodations were fine. Had many small narrow mountain roads and also took a look in villages and at the family and home of Zin. Furthermore, the surroundings are of course really beautiful. In short, I recommend it to everyone!
