  My experience of the Ha Giang loop with Opi Adventures was exceptional. The company website talks about how they promote safety as a priority and you really feel that. The riders drive professionally in convoy, there wasn't one risky maneuvere the whole four days. The 150cc bikes ensure the riders have the engine power to tackle steep hills and overtakes safely. You are given a full face helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. I'd never been a pillion passenger before but I felt at ease straight away. As a 30yr old solo female traveller I didn't want the massive party vibe that comes with a lot of Ha Giang loop experiences, but still wanted to have a good time. This company struck the balance perfectly. We had some good fun in the evening with family style meals, some karaoke and happy water toasts, but there was no heavy drinking culture like I saw with some other companies. The drivers did a few toasts with us then disappeared off to bed to be fresh for the morning. At one point we were stopped at a police checkpoint and all the drivers passed the breathalyser. Finally, a huge shout out to Hung, my rider and group leader. His professionalism, attention to detail and thoughtfulness really made the experience special. He helped me get all my safety gear on properly after every stop and made an effort to seek out the viewpoints for us that weren't as crowded. He even nipped out to get me a bread roll to eat one morning when I was sick and needed to take some antibiotics with a meal! When you're alone and unwell at the other side of the world, that kind of stuff makes all the difference. 10/10 company and staff, couldn't be happier with my experience!

  

  

  

  

• Amazing Small Group Tour

  Travelling in a small group made a huge difference. It felt more relaxed and less crowded compared to larger tours. The riders took us to quieter spots with incredible views. Even during busy seasons, we managed to avoid crowds and enjoy peaceful moments

  We had high expectations for this trip after a friend recommended doing the loop, and it absolutely lived up to them. From the moment we set off, safety was a big priority for us and our drivers made that clear straight away. They drove with care at a sensible speed which made it easy to relax and enjoy the journey. Our tour leader Happy truly lives up to his name. No request was ever too much, always met with a no problem and a big smile. His local knowledge made a real difference, getting us to a waterfall before the crowds and sharing insights that made every stop more meaningful. When we met up with other groups, we found ourselves passing on things Happy had told us and they often commented that they had not been given the same level of insight. The scenery is incredible, but what really made the trip special was the time we spent with Happy and our drivers Linh and Hung. They created such a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere and made the whole experience one we will always remembe

  I was initially a littel worried about the challenging route, but the guides were very experienced and careful.I felt safe at all times. The trip was extremely well-organized, from transportation to accommodation. The group size was ideal, making it easy to connect with others and enjoy the journey together

  We had a great time on the Ha Giang loop for 4 days. We booked as a couple and had a small group of 4 people in total which was great. Not completely alone but also not a big party group. We felt very safe and at home with our drivers and they always made sure we had everything we needed. We also drove on some smaller roads which were way less crowded than other roads with big groups. Highly reccomend!

  Great tour. We booked the max 10 people tour and it was definitely worth it. We ended up being a group of 4 guests and 4 riders. Being in such a small group allowed for a much more personalized experience. We were able to stop for photos wherever we wanted or change the order in which we did things. The food was very good and came in huge amounts. The guides where trying really hard to give us a good experience even if their English wasn’t super good we were able to communicate. (Sometimes via Translate) Chiu Chill was my driver and we definitely had a good time. Very good feather ball player.

  My husband and I are YouTubers and decided to do the 4 day 3 night ride with easy riders as a private tour for ease of filming which we loved! Our drivers Bear and Xwe (I’m likely misspelling his name and I’m so sorry for that) were absolutely amazing, and we agreed they we got so lucky that we were paired up with them for the tour! They made it such a fun and safe experience throughout the trip. Because this company offers smaller group sizes (the other group that left with us was a group of 4) we went into some extremely remote areas where it was just us and locals, and those off-the-beaten-path areas were some of the most beautiful places we’ve ever seen. The homestays were so cozy, the food was absolutely delicious, the scenery was unparalleled, and we met some of the most incredible people along the way. Bear even invited us into his home, introduced us to his family, and taught us about the Hmong way of life and culture in his village, definitely one of the highlights and such an honor. Working with Opi was totally seamless and he made sure every detail of our trip was taken into account from start to finish including our transport from Hanoi, and to Sapa afterwards, to make it one of our top 5 favorite experiences of all time (which after traveling to over 38 countries is really saying something)! There are so many options for tour operators in Ha Giang, so not look any further or hesitate, book with Ha Giang Road Trip, you will be in the best hands and will not be disappointed. • Highlight of my Vietnam trip!

  I was originally booked on a 3D2N easyrider tour but enjoyed the experience so much I stayed for another day/night which was easily accommodated. The group size was small (6) with experienced and friendly drivers, who were able to take us away from the main track on multiple occasions and see places / have experiences that bigger groups couldn't, and even many other smaller groups didn't (e.g. Chinese border, the best view of the whole loop imo, quiet waterfall). Everything felt flexible from the time we stopped from breaks to what we saw, and I also felt totally safe on the bike throughout. • A memorable adventure

  The group and our easy rider, Po, felt like family. I was looking for a quieter tour with fewer crowds and less of a party atmosphere, and this tour was perfect. We were only four people plus our easy riders, which made the experience very personal. Although some of the riders didn’t speak much English, they were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. Po, our tour leader, was great—fun, engaging, and always explaining the places we visited. Riding a motorbike through such stunning landscapes felt like heaven, and I never felt unsafe at any point. The activity of the cave on the last dat of the tour wasn't my favorite, I would have done something different like the river crossing, as I had seen other tours offer this. It might be a good idea to provide both options. Anyway, it was my fault for not paying attention to the itineraries of the 4 and 3 days activities. Overall, I would definitely recommend Opi Adventures and Po as your rider.
