Join a hands-on cooking experience inside a real Chilean home and step into the local way of eating. You’ll join a small group and jump straight into the kitchen, preparing traditional dishes such as Emanadas de pino and Sopaipillas. The rhythm is relaxed and intuitive, focused on how locals actually cook, not on rigid instructions. As you cook, your host shares practical techniques and cultural details that rarely appear in cookbooks, but make all the difference when recreating these dishes at home. Most ingredients are easy to find worldwide, so what you learn travels with you. Along the way, candid photos are taken so you leave with real memories. Afterward, you’ll receive our digital recipe book and a curated Santiago Food Guide to keep exploring local flavors. When everything is ready, the group sits down to enjoy the meal they prepared together. A homemade pisco sour is served, glasses are raised, and the kitchen turns into a shared table of conversation and laughter. You’re not watching from the outside, you’re part of it. You leave with practical skills you’ll actually use, genuine memories and the confidence of our 5-star money-back guarantee.

We had a wonderful time with chef Gregory. He showed us how to make our own empanadas the traditional way plus several other dishes and drinks. Was a wealth of knowledge of Chile and looking cooking. I loved to cook and he taught me the proper way to cut and make somethings I do all the time. Shared his insights into the rest of the country and helped us plan our other activities. Was very welcoming and our group had a great time together.

Great overall experience and plenty of great food. Bernardita was a great host and it was a fun day. However, we were promised a copy of all the recipes so we never wrote anything down as we were making the dishes, but we never got the recipes. We asked several times and she said she would send it, but several weeks later we still never received it.

Five stars to Bernardita. She kindly invites people to her house to share her love of cooking traditional Chilean food. She is personable, knowledgeable and was a terrific instructor. Only disappointment was Trip Advisor stated we would get 8 recipes. We did not get recipes. However we did get photos and a playlist of Chilean music. Both greatly appreciated.
