Walking excursion throughout Amsterdam. Connie was a GREAT tour guide--super friendly, knowledgeable. She was even able to get us into the Anne Frank house/museum when we had not prepurchased tickets. Lovely tour and would recommend.

When unexpected changes caused our original plans to fall through just two weeks before our visit to Amsterdam, we were fortunate enough to be connected with Constanza — and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our European adventure. From the moment she stepped in, Constanza went out of her way to create a seamless, personalized, and deeply enriching two-day experience. Despite the short notice, she took care of every detail — booking tickets, planning routes, reserving meals, and adjusting to our changing travel logistics with grace and precision. Our ship was docked outside of Amsterdam, and we were bussed in without clear instructions from the cruise line. Somehow, Constanza managed to track us down at the drop-off point and greet us with a smile right on time — already a miracle on day one! Our first day was spent exploring the heart of Amsterdam on foot, where Constanza brought the city to life with her depth of knowledge and passion. From the conquests of the Netherlands to the persecution of Jewish and LGBTQ+ communities during WWII, to the city’s distinctive architecture, canals, infrastructure, social design and much more. She gave us a beautifully layered understanding of both Amsterdam’s history and its modern spirit. She accompanied us to the Anne Frank House (having even secured her own ticket to quietly join us inside) and helped us reflect on the experience with care and compassion. Afterward, she led us through more of the city before guiding us directly to a Captain Jack canal cruise she had pre-booked for us — the perfect, peaceful way to end a full day. Day two brought a change of scenery as we ventured outside the city. Constanza arranged tickets to Keukenhof Gardens, where we witnessed the incredible display of 7 million hand-planted flower bulbs in bloom — truly a breathtaking sight. Afterward, she guided us to Zaanse Schans, where we explored traditional windmills and Dutch houses, all at our own pace. She even made us a lunch reservation at d’Swarte Walvis, which was absolutely fantastic. Throughout the entire experience, every ticketed activity was arranged in advance, giving us the luxury of simply showing up and enjoying. She also offers tours in both English and Spanish — and knowing I’m a Spanish learner, she even helped me practice a bit along the way, which added a personal and unexpected touch I really appreciated. To end the trip, Constanza introduced us to her friend and fellow tour guide Jan for an evening drink along the canal — a memorable chance to connect with another local and talk about life in the Netherlands. It was the perfect way to wrap up our time together. If you’re looking for a guide who brings deep cultural insight, kindness, flexibility, and a true passion for her work, Constanza is the one to book. She turned a stressful travel hiccup into two of the most meaningful and enjoyable days of our trip. We can’t recommend her enough.

Constanza was exceptional! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history and hidden spots, but what stood out most was her warm, friendly nature. She made me feel so welcome, chatting like an old friend and tailoring the tour to my interests. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and her kind demeanor turned a solo adventure into a truly personal and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for the most convenient, efficient, and enjoyable way to explore Amsterdam, I highly recommend Constanza as your personal tour guide. My daughter (10) and I planned to spend two days in Amsterdam, then head to Hamburg for two days, and finally return to Amsterdam for another two days. However, when I began planning our trip, I quickly felt overwhelmed by the sheer number of “Things to Do” and “Food and Drink” options available. After hours of sifting through reviews and photos, I found myself confused about the best transportation options and how to acquire tickets for the attractions we wanted to see. To simplify the process, I decided to entrust our trip planning to a local tour guide, and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice of Constanza. From the outset, Constanza took the time to understand our interests and goals for the trip. She focused on my daughter’s age and physical capabilities, as well as any food allergies or preferences. This personalized approach allowed her to tailor an itinerary that perfectly suited our needs. A couple of days after our initial discussion, she sent me a detailed itinerary for both our first and final two days in Amsterdam. I was amazed at how much she managed to fit into our limited time, demonstrating the careful planning of an experienced tour guide. Unfortunately, a global IT outage occurred on the day we were leaving the U.S., causing us to miss our first two days in Amsterdam. However, Constanza stayed in constant communication with us during this time, helping to re-plan our final two days so we could make the most of our visit. We arrived in Amsterdam the afternoon before our scheduled tour, and Constanza kindly met us at our hotel to review the itinerary and ensure it met our expectations. This unexpected gesture was incredibly helpful and set a positive tone for our trip. The next day, we embarked on our revised itinerary, which was packed with activities. Constanza secured tickets to the Anne Frank House, which I had struggled to obtain. We enjoyed a leisurely walking tour of the canal areas, a delightful and extensive bike tour around the city, and a visit to the A/C market. We also explored Vondelpark and learned about its surrounding buildings. One of the highlights of our trip was an unexpected tour of Amsterdam Noord, which truly exceeded our expectations. I don’t think we could have planned a more efficient or enjoyable itinerary on our own. Overall, I would give Constanza a 5-star rating for her effective communication, genuine interest in our goals, and smart planning that maximized our time. Her ability to adjust our schedule and activities to make the most of each day was invaluable. I hope we have the opportunity to visit Amsterdam again and tour with Constanza once more.

I had booked my first “layover tour” through Viator last year when I had an 8 hour layover in Dubai overnight on a work trip. So when I had a 6 hour layover in Amsterdam for a work trip, I knew I wanted to get a “layover tour”. I looked through a lot of options, and Connie looked very promising. Having had another experience in a different time and place to compare to, I can say that Connie is next level! It was fantastic. So many things were better. First, you know exactly the person who will be your tour guide. The communication was great. Early on she reached out, and we connected on WhatsApp. She’s open to anything that you want to do, or you can turn the reins over to her to decide (or somewhere in between). We worked out some rough ideas weeks before the date. Then checked back in a couple of days before up until we met. She met me in the airport right at my arrival gate, and we headed to Amsterdam Central on the train. We used the lockers in the train station for me to store my bags. We first did a canal tour that was 1 hour (at my request - I needed to pay for the tour). The boat tour guide shared some things, but Connie had lots more to share. The canal tour was a great way to see things, and gives a great vantage point of the city. After we finished that, we rented bikes (also at my request - I needed to pay to rent the bikes), and then did a bike tour. We stopped at several places along the way. She was always willing to take pictures wherever I wanted. Riding bikes is a huge thing in Amsterdam. It also let us cover a bunch of ground. And I just like to ride bikes, so that was great. The other thing I wanted to try was some local street food, and have it not take too long. She picked a great place (Jonk) that we stopped with our bikes. I had Brooje Hering (herring sandwich), and Kibbeling (fried code). They were the perfect things to try. Connie is also such a great person. So pleasant and nice to spend time with. If you’re thinking of doing a tour of Amsterdam, Connie should be the one you choose!

Our tour with Constanza was the perfect introduction to Amsterdam and an absolute highlight of our trip. As our first adventure in the city, it set the tone for an incredible weekend. Constanza provided an engaging and insightful overview of Amsterdam, offering unique perspectives that only a local could share. Her extensive knowledge and expert navigation skills made exploring the city both informative and enjoyable. After the tour, we felt well-prepared to make the most of our weekend. We left with a deeper understanding of Amsterdam and cherished memories of our time with a delightful resident guide. Highly recommended!

Constanza was an amazing guide and worked with us as we were delayed due to a worldwide data outage that kept us in London for the day. We were going to do a biking tour, but it began raining and we asked if we could walk instead and she pivoted immediately. It was a great afternoon and we saw more than we expected and way more than if we tried to navigate Amsterdam on our own. A caveat to the story is that we originally booked our tours through another agency that hired Constanza. She reached out to confirm our tour because she hadn’t heard from the other company. Which struck me as odd, so I reached out to the original company and the other guide who was going to give us a full day tour outside the city. The other guide informed me that the company I booked through stopped operating and hadn’t paid them for the tours. Constanza never mentioned this and was still going to do the tour without ever telling us she wasn’t paid. I canceled right away as our schedule was crazed due to delayed flights and lost baggage. On Saturday, I sent her a message asking if I could book a tour for the next day and she got right back to confirm. She is an extraordinary guide and really showed us the beauty of Amsterdam and its charming neighborhoods. I highly recommend Constanza for any tours, she is the best!!!!

We arrived without having done much research on what we wanted to see, and Constanza was the perfect guide to take the lead and show us very fascinating and interesting elements of Amsterdam that we would’ve totally missed otherwise. Though not a native of Amsterdam, she has a keen handle on its history and shared perspective, knowledge, and insight. Thank you for a delightful four hours !!!
