In our 4x4 vehicles, which in addition to the comfort offered, takes us to unique places, come to the discovery and be dazzled by the surrounding nature.

You will see impressive and unique landscapes (sea, mountain, valleys and rivers), as well as the existing fauna and flora.

We will take a short walk in nature, which allows us to discover authentic paradises and access to places that would otherwise be inaccessible along the river that rises in the middle of the Serra d'Arga. We will see waterfalls and ponds, and a vast biodiversity of fauna and flora, creating a place of rare beauty. Here we can bathe in its lagoons and enjoy its crystal clear waters!

What To Expect

If you are a nature lover, you have to explore the Serra de Sta Luzia and Serra d'Arga in Alto Minho! We will pick you up at your accommodation in our 4X4 vehicles, which in addition to the comfort offered, takes us to unique places. The adventure begins with the Serra de Santa Luzia, which, due to its unique location, offers us fabulous panoramic views under the sea and its beaches, the mountains, rivers, valleys and cities to the Serra d'Arga, one of the most emblematic areas of Alto Minho. We will take a short hike along the river that rises in the middle of the Serra d'Arga and provides us with unique natural landscapes, with the course of its clear waters, waterfalls and ponds, offering a vast biodiversity of fauna and flora , making it a place of rare beauty. Here we can bathe in its lagoons and enjoy its crystal clear waters.

This was an amazing and very interesting tour. Miquel and joau (spelling of the name..?) were great guides and showed us the most beautiful places in the mountains. We had a feeling that it was our own private tour and the time was in our own hands. They didn’t push to drive to the next stop. We felt that we had all the time in the world. They were both very open about their private life and was very interested in us which made us feel very welcome. Thank you both for one of the best days in Viana. ♥️☀️

Miguel & Joao were just amazing. My son has a very rare genetic issue and is autistic. This was a great family adventure. The kids loved the off road adventure. We covered so much ground the adults loved seeing all the major peaks in the area. This included swimming and a stop at a fantastic local cafe. We had such a good time trying local foods with them. The knowledge they have of the area and culture was special and was one of the best tours we did in our 3 weeks in Portugal. Everyone should make time for this trip when in Viana Do Castello.

This was a highlight of our travels in Portugal. Miguel is a great guide to the nature, culture and quirks of this area near Viana do Castelo. Our trip was on a particularly warm day in late Sept so the cool water swim was a delight. You'll visit the tops of local granitic mountains with grest views, see wild horses, have forest walk (hiking shoes recommended) and experience skilled Range Rover driving.

It was very nice, we were unlucky that it was foggy and could not see all the views, but the guide tried very hard to make up for it by showing other things. Very nice guide, nice, had even brought his daughter because he thought he did not speak enough English, but that was actually not necessary, but nice. Beautiful things seen in the mountains, waterfalls, herds of wild horses, birds etc. And also some culture sniffed, churches, small authentic villages, in short a nice impression of the area.
