5.00We booked a tour with Sérgio Santos from 100montanhas.pt. He collected us from our hotel and made sure we were comfortable. We took us for a scenic drive to serra da Estrela. We stopped long the way to see the famous is Poço do Inferno (near Manteigas), with a waterfall of about 10 meters in a scenic ravine. We then continued up the mountain and stopped at a souvenir shop where we were able to taste cheese and try wines. Unfortunately, it started snowing as we reached the top of the tower so we did not spend much time in the snow. We managed to take a few pictures and play for a few minutes in the snow. Sérgio was knowledgeable and kept us entertained the entire tour. We would highly recommend him and book him again. He was also able to advise us on restaurants near our hotel and offer insight for further trips in the future.

5.00We made a great trip to Portugal, and the Serra da Estrela tour managed to be the highlight. The guide Sérgio was extremely friendly, including with the children, telling various stories and details of the mountain, which he clearly knows very well. Without it, we would not have known the hidden places of the mountain, with the most stunning landscapes, always safely. It took us through exclusive trails for accredited guides, without the traffic of the time and where a regular car would have difficulty entering. And also took us to a typical lunch in the region, where you can taste the delicious Serra da Estrela cheese.

A very special thanks to our guide Sergio. His deep knowledge of the region, fauna and flora is impressive, but what really stands out is his sympathy and passion for what he does. Sergio did not just guide us; he told us stories, led us to stunning places outside the usual tourist circuits and always guaranteed maximum safety and comfort for the whole group. The organization was impeccable and the attention to detail made all the difference. If you are looking for an authentic, professional and enriching tour of the Serra da Estrela, do not hesitate to choose 100 Mountains and, if you can, ask for Sergio! I highly recommend and hope to be back soon to explore new tracks with this team.

5.00Today we took a 4 hour walk through the Serra da Estrela in a 4x4 and it was simply wonderful. Sergio was an impeccable guide, knowledgeable, quiet and with that respect for the mountain that only those who truly feel it can transmit. It took us along paths that tell old stories and made us feel like we were discovering everything for the first time. My wife and I loved every moment. I recommend 100%. An honest experience, well done, and of those that are kept in the heart and in memory. Our thanks to Sergio who was available and attentive from the booking until the end of the tour. For more professionals like that. Definitely an experience to repeat👍👍👍

5.00We were picked up at our hotel. Let me just say that we covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of the nature around Covilha. One of the good things about this trip is the guide/driver. He knows all about the area and is willing to share all his knowledge. We had a fantastic trip and some very interesting discussions. We can highly recommend this tour for everyone with interest in local history/culture. And the nature is stunning.
