We recently returned from one of your tours: From Edinburgh & Glasgow: 5-day Highland Experience's Scottish Choice. What an incredible way to experience the highlands of Scotland from Glasgow to Skye and all in between. The beauty of the area surpassed our expectations. All of this was made even more memorable by our talented guide, Hugh. He was extremely knowledgeable, a great storyteller, top-notch bagpipe player and quite humorous! The scenery and history of the Highlands is stupendous, but Hugh made it come alive for us!

Great tour! Hugh was a great guide with lot’s of information about the area. Absolutely beautiful area. It was quick paced but needed to be so we could see everything.

This tour far exceeded my expectations. Hugh was the best driver, guide and friend for our highland adventure. Everyday was jammed packed with great experiences and Hugh imparting his considerable knowledge of his homeland. And he plays the bagpipes too! You can't beat that for added authenticity.

Thoroughly enjoyed this off season private adventure lead by the indomitable Alan Gillespie. Happy chappy, informative and despite lots of rain and cold our trio had freedom and flexibilty to brave the elements and see and explore as much of West Scotland and the Isle of Skye.

The 5 day tour was amazing, it was just what we were looking for to end our honeymoon in Scotland! It showcased the most beautiful views and interesting places to visit and learn about in the highlands. Hugh MacKay was the best tour guide we could have asked for! He was quick witted and had a great sense of humor, his in-sites and knowledge of the highlands was always enlightening. He was so flexible and fun if there was something we wanted to do he tried his best to make it happen, I had always wanted to visit dunvegan castle on Skye. Now it wasn’t scheduled in the tour but Hugh squeezed it in. I was absolutely thrilled! Hugh is also a great entertainer and story teller, giving us opportunities to immerse ourselves into the myths and culture of the highlands. It’s also a real treat if he happens to play the bagpipes.hearing him play was on of the highlights of the tour! Overall a 10/10 experience. If I had one word of advice for Hugh it would be to try and give every group the opportunity to hear a real Highlander play his pipes. Thanks for all the fun I would love to come back and do it again!y

Everyone on the bus was raving about the whole trip. The accommodations were great, and our guide JR was incredible, so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and entertaining. You have frequent stops throughout the day and see so many things. The only issue (if you can call it that) is that you are always in a rush but this is the price to pay for getting to see many incredible gems-historical, nature, and popular culture-related. My 12-year-old son enjoyed it tremendously and never even had his phone out throughout the day, unbelievable. If you want to see Scotland outside of the big cities, I recommend this trip, 5 days is just enough! Isle of Skye was our family favorite but everything was worth visiting.

Great commentary from our tour guide, Alex, and great music when he wasn’t talking. Weather cooperated. Comfortable accommodations. Visit to Culloden Battlefield needs to be longer, not enuf time to view it all. Only boring bit was the Loch Ness cruise, didn’t care for the commentary.

Fabulous trip! Our guide, Wee Andy is an outstanding ambassador for tour guides in Scotland. His genuine love of nature, both wildlife and the land, sense of fun, & ability to clearly explain the logistics of each day, made for a very enjoyable & informative 5 days. Ann
