  • Must do tour

When we arrived, it turned out it was just the two of us, and they still ran the full 5‑day tour. Some places weren’t fully open because of winter, but that didn’t stop us from having an amazing trip. Our driver and guide, Carl, was fantastic. Before each stop, he gave us a great overview of the area and what to expect. We encountered a few road closures due to the weather, but Carl made sure we still reached all our planned destinations each day. We chose to stay in bed-and-breakfast accommodation, and both places were lovely. Was a great way to see part of the UK. Would do this tour again.

  • Great scenery and famous Landmarks

Many famous places plus lovely scenery from place to place. I am very glad I wasn't driving. I don’t know how the driver got us some of these places off the GPS so safely! I didn't realize how big SW England is. The hotels have wonderful breakfasts. My favorites were Port Isaac because my husband and I watched Doc Martin, Stonehenge and the overlooks you climb up to see the statue of King Arthur - breathtaking! The guide had a lot of historical information. He even said "Jolly good question."

  • Very enjoyable trip with Rabbie’s to Devon and Cornwall with guide Russell

Just returned from a 5 Day small group tour of Devon and Cornwall with Rabbies. Being a little hesitant to do a group tour, I surprised how much I enjoyed this one. The itinerary was great as was the accommodation organised by Rabbie’s. In retrospect what added to the whole experience was the knowledge of our guide Russell which made the tour so much more interesting. I certainly would do another Rabbie's tour next time I am travelling. Annette (Australia)

  • Isolated trip

The tour guide was fine, but the tour was quite impersonal. We all jumped in the bus without any introduction ever. Even the tour guide didn't intriduce himself; I ha to ask him what his name was! Our group was divided every night into three different accommodations, so we didn't mingle with the other guests. We eventually introduced ourselves to each other by the third day. We didn't eat any meals as a group; breakfast was at our accommodation at separate tables. Other meals were totally on our own!

  • Devon and Cornwall - more than just cream tea and pasties

What an amazing part of the English countryside to visit . Our driver/guide, David did an outstanding job organising our group and keeping us on track. His insights into the history, culture and natural beauty of the Devon and Cornish regions were as much a highlight as the sites themselves. I have a new appreciation for post ( pillar) boxes and the Royal cypher on them as a result. This was our first multi day tour with Rabbie’s, but hopefully not our last. Simply spectacular- Dartmoor ponies, Galloway Belters and some very handsome sheep also made the highlights reel. Fantastic! Tour!

We had the best tour ever. Our guide, David Coatsworth, absolutely made the tour so special. He knew the best timing and drop-off spots and history, plus he had the most amazing stories that kept us all spellbound on the long drives. This tour far exceeded our expectations for the places we visited, and the weather was fabulous. It was just right when we needed it to be. I highly recommend this tour. Devon and Cornwall is drop-dead gorgeous. My faves: St. Michael Mount, the Dartmoore ponies, St. Ives and the Minach theater, but most of all, our incredible knowledgeable and experienced guide who made it all come together perfectly. Posted on Trip Advisor under our tour.

We were guided to Devon and Cornwall by dear David Coats worth and it was just perfect. David was not only very knowledgeable and always super kind and patient with his guests, he also offered additional material such as maps handouts and practical information and made a visit to the Minack Theater possible which wasn't on the itinerary but WONDERFUL. A problem with our first accomodation was quickly taken care of, also with the prompt help of Rabbies. All this friendly help and support made the trip perfect. We were so well taken care of like we were his private friends. The trip itself is fabulous, we got so much to see and enjoy, I can safely say it exceeded my expectations!
