  • Unforgettable Experience!

Title: Unforgettable Experience! I'm American and I booked with E2G because I did not want to try to drive on the other side of the road, navigate, and enjoy the scenery all at the same time. Excellent decision on my part. E2G helped me with planning and identifying treks/hikes and I felt very prepared when I arrived. And then there was David, my guide. I expected a knowledgeable Scot, of course, but I did not expect to spend the first day bent over, snorting with laughter. David was a good teacher of all things Scottish, including the food (haggis, neeps and tatties, fried crunchy pizza), history and folklore (ask about the white houses), Highland coos (special cows), and Scottish tradition and culture (freedom to roam). He was also very kind about going at a rather slow pace on the walks, as I am an old pit wench. Perhaps because he is a husband and father of four, he managed all my special needs (cappucino now! picture now!) and wants effortlessly. He was flexible, able to improvise, annoyingly punctual, and a very safe driver on crazy country roads. We traveled from Perth to Fort William, Glencoe, the Trossachs, and Loch Lomond. All beautiful. I absolutely fell in love with misty Scotland. I cannot recommend E2G highly enough!

  • Highly recommend… we had the best experience with Martin and E2G!

We had an outstanding experience with E2G Travels from start to finish. From the initial planning stages through our April tour, the team was incredibly responsive, flexible, and attentive to our preferences. They thoughtfully tailored our itinerary while adding their own expert touches, which truly elevated the entire experience. Our guide, Martin, was exceptional. He was personable, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable throughout the journey. We especially appreciated how he proactively adjusted the itinerary to accommodate our son’s knee injury—his care and attention made a meaningful difference for our family. One of the highlights was Martin’s thoughtful gestures—bringing us a variety of snacks and candies each day, always something new. It was such a small but memorable touch that reflected his warm and generous nature. He also surprised us with additional stops that weren’t part of the original plan, adding delightful moments we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. The days we spent touring with him flew by, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend E2G Travels for anyone looking for a personalized and memorable tour.

This review isn’t delayed - my family and I have just spent the last 8 months ruminating in our wonderful trip with Martin guiding us around the Scottish Highlands. He researched our family’s history and took us to the land of our ancestors, guided us around to the popular areas, like the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Luss, and Loch Ness, and kept us full with all the best local snacks and treats. We felt like he was part of the family on our tour. We cannot recommend Martin enough and truly appreciate the kindness he showed our family and his Scottish hospitality.

What an amazing experience. I’ve done multiple tours with Martin now, and I’ll say that there truly is no better way to experience the area. On top of that, his hospitality is unmatched and truly makes you feel like you have a friend showing you everything. Tours are not rushed, tailor to what you’re hoping to do/see, and a great way to see and learn about everything you see. A must do experience!

It was a fast-paced adventure, diving deep into the culture with our Scottish guide, who made sure we experienced the very best—from fresh meals by the sea to cozy accommodations in the mountains. The roads were long and winding, but the scenery and the legendary stops along the way were truly magical. We had so much fun getting to know our guide through history lessons, snacks, and a great sense of humor. Slàinte!

A Five-Star Scottish Adventure Thanks to Martin! My group of five friends just returned from an incredible tour of Scotland with E2G Tours, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Our guide, Martin, was truly exceptional. The service was great from start to finish. Martin is highly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating history and insights everywhere we went. Crucially, he made the entire trip fun and engaging. Everything was perfectly organized and efficient, ensuring we saw so many cool things across Scotland without ever feeling rushed. It was a seamless, joyful adventure. We would absolutely do this trip all over again, especially if Martin was our guide! Highly, highly recommend E2G Tours and the fantastic Martin.

We booked this tour with E2G last year after much discussion with Martin. He was very helpful customising our itinerary to exactly what we wanted to see and our interests. He was always propt to reply to our many questions and extremely patient to deal with our dozens of emails! (Sorry, Martin). Our guide for the tour was Joao, and wr couldn't have been happier. He wore a kilt, was always pleasant and very patient. Willing to do last minute changes and further customise our itinerary and even gace us some amazing lunch recommendations! We couldn't recommend E2G enough. Martin and Joao helped us to customise a unique experience and we're eternally grateful. Thanks guys!
