Much more scenic than Naromoru and it is on the dry side of mountain which offers some of the finest walking. Climb up through forest into a wide ridge approach to the summit area. The route starts on the northwest side of the mountain near Nanyuki. Access is adequate and the bunk house facilities are the best on this side of the mountain

I feel still tired on my legs when I write this review, but my heart is full of energy to express our highly gratitude, first to Grace that arranged everything from pick up transportation (5 person: I, my husband, my son, sister in laws and her son) in Nairobi by Francis until we met with Peter and his team in Nanyuki. The trip itself for me was very challenging, hard thus fun. The team who guided by Peter and David is very excellent. Their hospitality, patience and persistence to make all of us (especially me) to be able to reach the Lenana Point is extraordinary. Thank Peter and David! Finally my dream comes true and my family is so happy too that our trip is succeed. Thanks also for Steve who pick up us at Chogoria back to Nairobi safely. What a great adventure to close 2019!
