Zhangjiajie

Welcome to Zhangjiajie! Upon arrival, be greeted by our tour guide in the airport or train station who is holding a sign on which says your name. A comfortable vehicle (non-smoking) with experienced driver will transfer you directly to your hotel in the Zhangjiajie downtown area. Your guide will help you check in.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

After the breakfast, get in the National park, you will start your Hiking form Ten-miles Gallery, 6000 steps up to the Tianzi Mountain, on the way, you will see mountains from bottom,middle,and top. When you reached the top of Mountain, you can have a stunning view of the peaks rising one after another. Atop of the mountain offers a full extent of the whole scenic area, which is magnificent and spectacular. There is a MacDonald on the top, you can eat or have a cup of coffee there, then keep walking to the Generals Platform where you can see the panorama of Tianzi mountain in different angle. the next viewpoint you are going to see is Shentang Bay, where you can see a great view with close peaks. Keep going to visit the Sky Rice field where you can see another stunning view with the mountains. In the end, take the Tianzi mountain cable way down the mountain, and get back to hotel. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

In the morning get in the National Park again, Take the grand Bailong Elevator up to the Yuanjiajie Area, then take the bus to Yangjiajie Area, 2 hours hiking in Yangjiajie Area, on the way ,you will climb up by using hands and feet, then pass through a narrow gap between the huge rock, then reach the Wulong Village, a small house ever lived by the bandits, there is a big platform called Tianbo Mansion, the best place to see the peak wall. There are 32 iron stairs leading to the mountaintop. The top is flat, with 5 meters (5 yards) long and 4 meters wide, and is enclosed with iron railings. In the afternoon, visit the Yuanjiajie Area with the spots: the No1 Natural Bridge In The World, Floating Mountains in the movie Avatar, Backyard Garden, get down the mountain by 1.5hours hiking, you will arrive the Golden Whip Brook ,it is famous for its pristine water, its verdant mountains, its steep cliffs and its serene valley.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

On this day, you’ll hiking 2 hrs to the top of Huangshi Village(Yellow Stone Village) which is 1080m above the sea level. It is the biggest sightseeing platform to view the spectacular scenery in the national park. A saying goes “He who does not reach Huangshi Village does not pay a true visit to Zhangjiajie.” In the afternoon keep exploring the Baofeng Mountain and Baofeng Temple. Baofeng Temple located at the top of Baofeng Mountain at an attitude of 1,260 meters. It is recorded that Baofeng Temple was founded in the Tang and Song Dynasties. During the Kangxi and Qianlong emperor reigns of the Qing Dynasty, incense was extremely prosperous, and pilgrims from around Hunan, Hubei, Sichuan, and Guizhou provinces came to pay homage to this pilgrimage. now it is an important historical and cultural relic in Zhangjiajie, though it is not opened to the tourists, it is popular in the locals, you can hike up to the top to appreciate spectacular panorama view of the mountains and villages.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. On this day, you’ll first take a trip to Tianmen Mountain. Referred to as the “Soul of culture and spirit of Zhangjiajie”, Tianmen Mountain, standing 1,500 meters above sea level, boasts miraculous and unique geographic landform, unparalleled natural landscape, profound cultural connotations. Experience the longest cableway in Asia with a length of 7200 meters, take photos of Avenue toward Heaven with 99 turns from cable car. On the top of Tianmen Mountain, enjoy the Cliff-Hanging Walkway and avoid the crowds to take some photos; hold your breath and experience the thrilling Glass Sky Walk. Then, visit the natural mountain-penetrating Karst cave - Tianmen Cave. After the tour, your guide and driver will escort you the airport or railway station. Service ends!
