What To Expect
Relax in a spacious, mountaintop aurora viewing cabin near Murphy Dome, designed for comfort, visibility, and extended Northern Lights viewing. Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks while staying warm indoors as you watch the night sky. When aurora activity increases, guests are free to step outside into our vast 10-acre open yard, offering 360° unobstructed sky views and wide, barrier-free sightlines for optimal aurora viewing and photography. A professional guide continuously monitors aurora activity using a live aurora camera, helping determine the best moments to view and photograph the Northern Lights both indoors and outdoors. On the tour day, final details will be confirmed with you. If you’ve booked a transfer service, departures typically occur between 9:00–9:30 p.m., with flexible options available, including airport drop-offs. We look forward to hosting you at Aurora Camp.

5.00We had a wonderful experience and our guide, Joy is really kind, attentive and always spent as much time as she could with the guests! She and the other staff took great photos of us, always made sure we stayed warm. The cabin is very cozy, well-maintained and had so much food and drinks!

5.00It was so wonderful to stay in a warm and cozy cabin with tons of refreshment provided while waiting for Aurora to show up. David, our host, is really nice and amicable. He taught us how to use our cell phones to catch the beautiful moment of the Northern lights and illustrated how to check real-time Aurora status through the camera installed outside of the cabin.We were very lucky to view the northern lights on a clear night. David took some great photos for us with the stunning Aurora in the background and sent it to us pretty quickly. Aurora certificate and postcards were given as souvenir gifts in the end. Thank you for this unforgettable memory!

5.00A heart warming THANK YOU to Joy for making this senior citizen’s dream come true! It’s a huge campground with an open sky above. Your cameras can follow the Auroras as they dance across the sky! When you need to warm up, just step inside to a large room surrounded by huge windows and have refreshments to keep you energized as you watch for more excitement. Joy is constantly on the lookout for Auroras and lets everyone know when to step outside to see them. She takes great photos! My sister and I appreciate the pick up and return to Pike’s Hotel. Thank you for a most memorable experience!

1.00We didn’t get to see the northern lights. The local guide wasn’t friendly at all. Before booking under the terms and conditions it was stated that our payment will be refunded if we didn’t get to see the northern lights due to the weather conditions. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see and experience it. They refused to give us our body back. After contacting the customer service and the actual location. Awful experience.
