What To Expect
Relax in a spacious, mountaintop aurora viewing cabin near Murphy Dome, designed for comfort, visibility, and extended Northern Lights viewing. Enjoy complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks while staying warm indoors as you watch the night sky. When aurora activity increases, guests are free to step outside into our vast 10-acre open yard, offering 360° unobstructed sky views and wide, barrier-free sightlines for optimal aurora viewing and photography. A professional guide continuously monitors aurora activity using a live aurora camera, helping determine the best moments to view and photograph the Northern Lights both indoors and outdoors. On the tour day, final details will be confirmed with you. If you’ve booked a transfer service, departures typically occur between 9:00–9:30 p.m., with flexible options available, including airport drop-offs. We look forward to hosting you at Aurora Camp.

1.00We didn’t get to see the northern lights. The local guide wasn’t friendly at all. Before booking under the terms and conditions it was stated that our payment will be refunded if we didn’t get to see the northern lights due to the weather conditions. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see and experience it. They refused to give us our body back. After contacting the customer service and the actual location. Awful experience.

5.00Joy and her husband were amazing!!!! Outstanding hosts, they really try hard to ensure everyone had a great experience. We were picked up from our hotel and whisked away to a fantastic location. Its the cutest cabin filled with tasty snacks and an incredible viewing capability. This was a bucket list item and they helped for me to get it checked off. 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting fairbanks to see thee Northern lights!!!

5.00Aurora Camp Fairbanks provided an excellent Northern Lights experience for my wife and me. Temperature to view the lights ranged from -15F to -25F so having the lodge to warm up before venturing outside for a few minutes to take pictures made the most sense for us. Additionally, the operators provide hot drinks, hot dogs and snacks for the tour participants. The lodge had a camera on the roof so the people inside could see the intensity and changes to the Aurora Borialis. The photographer provided personalized pictures free of charge. I will be recommending family and friends to take this tour.

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The views were amazing with opportunities in every direction to see the Aurora. We highly recommend booking this Aurora vacation viewing location.

5.00Joy and her partner are phenomenal hosts. We opted to be picked up at our hotel which was perfect as the early morning drive back was better left in their capable hands. The cabin was cozy and food selection was wide, something for everyone. There were games if needed but not for us! What a spectacular show! The aurora was intense with colors and dancing. 10 out of 10 recommend.
