Not sure were all the negative comments originate for Martin Tour Prague and Vera. We (three adults) were lucky enough to have a private tour with Vera around most of Prague Castle and couldn't have been more pleased with our guide. We even gave her a tip at the end. I think these things help if you show enthusiasm and ask questions. She was highly knowledge and spoke for what was essentially 3 hours straight. It probably helped that she only had to deal with three people and it was very personal.

Excellent tour! We had an amazing time! Our guide, Sara (or Sarah) was brilliant. She was well informed, funny and approachable. We couldn’t have asked for better. The tour was very educational and we would have missed out on a lot of information if we hadn’t done it. Thanks again!

We spent too much time standing around while the guide recited facts that we will never remember. Also she had no listening device so when she turned her head we couldn’t hear what she said anyhow. We saw other groups pass us by while we stood and listened. I would have given 1 star but she did know her facts if that is your thing. We enjoy looking at the surroundings with a guide that gives some facts and some interesting and fun tidbits. We booked ahead but there are many venues to book tours on the streets while in Prague.

I will never book a tour with this company again. The people at the ticket kiosk were abrupt and rude and not at all accommodating and the tour was a total waste of time. The guide appeared totally bored and just rattled off historical facts as quick as she could in both English and Russian. She showed no enthusiasm for what she was doing and was always in a hurry. A total waste of time and money

The directions provided for the meeting point need to be much clearer. I ended up missing the tour because I could not find the meeting point. If even Czech people are confused by the location, it's more than understandable that tourists can also get confused. Most tour companies include a map indicating the meeting point for exactly this reason! When I asked locals for help in finding the location, I was directed to another church by an almost identical name, which is actually very close to the castle. Upon phoning the company for help, I was told that they could not help me. In short, the woman was extremely rude and abrupt, told me that I was being unfair in saying that the directions were insufficient and that she could not be expected to help everyone who phoned when they got lost. While the company did offer to let me do the tour on an alternative day, this was not possible since I was in the city for a course and did not have another day free. I'm disappointed not to have been able to do this tour as it was one that I was really looking forward to.
