Experience the world's most haunted city on a ghost tour of Edinburgh and be spooked by one of the city's most infamous sons as they lead you around the dark side of the Old Town. Discover the hidden wynds (alleys) off the Royal Mile and hear some of Edinburgh’s horrifying secrets.
Then, visit what is regarded as the most haunted graveyard in the world at "Greyfriars Kirkyard." Finally, go deep underground and explore the Edinburgh Vaults beneath the streets. Completed in 1788, the series of chambers were used to house taverns and as storage space for illicit material, including the bodies of people killed by serial killers Burke and Hare for their medical experiments.
Journey through over 400 years of history and hear terrifying true tales of hangings, torture, murders and witchcraft. Shiver at the weird noises and unexplained smells that make an appearance after dark!

5.00David was AMAZING as our tour guide! The tour took us around the city and underground telling the dark stories that other tours don't cover. David did a great job bring the stories he told to life and was very entertaining the whole time. If you go be sure to make sure he's your guide!

1.00Down to the vaults with far to many people nothing he said made sence constantly scratching his face, none of his jokes landed if that’s what they were, not very interesting and we didn’t do some of the things that the walk entailed or that was mentioned on the venture poor quality to say the least, never even pretend to be a character that the tour guides are supposed to be.

5.00Great little tour of Edinburgh and the vaults! We visited plenty of statues throughout the tour and learnt about their history. The tour itself wasn't too scary (which was preferable to me haha) but still had plenty of spooky stories, laughs and interesting facts along the way. (And James' ability to recall everyone's names and where they visited from was very impressive!) Thanks again to James and staff for a fab time 👻🧙

5.00The experience was educational but also so much fun. I haven't laughed so much in my life! Our guide Lafayette was absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend it - you'll have a superb time and see a side of Edinburgh you wouldn't otherwise see.

5.00The GREAT Lafayette was a fantastic guide. Love the energy and effort that goes into these kinds of tours, it isn’t easy to do multiple times per day. Loved learning a bit about the city and its history, it wasn’t a grueling walking tour, plenty of breaks, and family friendly. Indiana folks don’t get this much history where we’re from!
