• One of a kind, and I wish I could do it again

  The experience was one of the most breathtaking adventures I have ever been on. From the journey to the destination it was an amazing time. Each day of the trip was very much worth the cost and time. The tour guides were all super friendly and knowledgeable about the area and its history, and it was overall smooth experience. The only thing I would wish for is more time to properly absorb it all. I highly recommend this to anyone who really wants to dive into area and gain as much as they can from a single visit.

  We had a great trip to Machu Picchu booked with Cusco Unique Experience. It was a private tour, which I highly recommend for this important site. Karina and Brian worked with us to plan the perfect trip for us. They are flexible and will plan the trip that you want. Prior to the trip they sent the itinerary so we knew what we were going to do. We were met at the airport, even though out flight was very late, and driven to our hotel in the sacred valley that used to be a hacienda. Our guide for the sacred valley and Cusco was Rina, and we felt we saw and learned so much about the Incas. Our guide for Machu Picchu was Alex. He met with us the night before we were going to Machu to tell us what to bring, what not to bring, and what to expect. He met us at our hotel on Machu Picchu morning to walk to the bus with us. He explained so much about the Incas and Machu Pichu. He helped us with our photos and suggested good places to take photos. It was so great to have a private tour. We spent two more days touring with Rina ending in Cusco. We were offered one more activity to end our tour and we chose a cooking class. That was a riot because the chef spoke Spanish but the restaurant provided a someone to translate for us. The food was delicious. Our driver picked us up at 4:30AM for our vert early flight to Santiago, Chile. Overall, it was a wonderful trip. We loved Peru and we were totally satisfied with Cusco Unique Experience.

  Outstanding. My adult daughter and I traveled 8/10-16 and had a wonderful time. We had a personal guide, Edith, who was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We upgraded our lodging to 4-star, and it was well worth it. We had a different guide for Machu Picchu only, Irving, who was also very knowledgeable and personable as well. I must say, most of the info I read that warned of the pitfalls of Peru, were not true in the least. The people were friendly, the food was great. Yes, Cusco does have some run-down areas, but don't most major cities? I definitely recommend this tour, and highly recommend the Casa Andina that we stayed at as part of the lodging (we stayed at 3 diff hotels total).

  This was an amazing tour. Definitely worth 5 stars. We had top notch personal service from the time we booked the tour including numerous emails back and forth to get our preferences in hotels and schedule before even going. We were able to customize some aspects of the tour. We were met at the airport even after flight cancellations and delays by Brian and Karina along with a driver and were presented with welcome gifts and detailed itineraries. We were then driven to Sacred Valley to rest after travelling for almost 24 hours to get to Cusco. The next morning we were picked up by a private guide and driver. The vehicle was a large, comfortable and clean van for just the four of us including the driver and guide. Our guide Edith was amazing and not only provided detailed historical information but made everything interesting by explaining the customs, foods, clothing and cultures of the different areas we visited. There were no questions that Edith could not answer. We travelled to Aquas Calientes by train and visited Machu Picchu the next day. Again we had a private guide. The benefit of having private guides is you can go at your own pace. Since my spouse and I are avid photographers we like to spend time taking lots of photos from different view points. Also, with the steep climbs and high altitude, it was nice to be able to go at our own pace and enjoy the sites without being rushed, After Machu Picchu, we spent another night in Sacred Valley and two nights in Cusco. Our days in Sacred Valley and Cusco were full visiting numerous sites including Maras. Again we had our guide Edith and a driver Carlos. Edith provided lots of information and interesting facts for all the sites we visited. While we were in Cusco we went to a cooking lesson. Again, this was private with only the head chef and my spouse and I. We had an amazing time and the food was excellent. Brian was always accessible during our stay. He would promptly respond to any questions via email. We can't say enough how wonderful this tour was and highly recommend it. It was the best tour we have ever taken!!

  My husband and I recently visited Peru for the first time. After much research on the internet, we chose the 6 days private tour package with Cusco Unique Experience. It was a great choice. Even before the trip started, the owners of the tour company, Karina and Brian, made sure they accommodated all of our special requests and preferences. When we arrived in Cusco, they met us at the airport and drove us to our hotel even though our tour did not begin until two days later (we scheduled two days of rest in Cusco prior to beginning the tour). They provided us with detailed itineraries of our visit, dining recommendations, and even a nice welcome gift. Throughout our stay they regularly checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our visit. Our personal tour guide, Remi, was delightful and very knowledgeable; we had an excellent driver, Javier, who was always punctual. The tour package was incredibly well organized and varied, with visits to the major attractions in the Sacred Valley. It included visits to archeological sites in Ollantantaybo, Moray, Q’enqo, Puka Pukara, Tambomachay, Pisac, and Chinchero; visits to quaint historical towns such as Ollantantaybo and Chincheros; visit of the salt mines of Maras; and visits to Pisac and Chinchero markets. Of course, the crown jewel was the visit to Machu Picchu. The guided tour of Cusco combined a mixture of visits to colonial historical buildings and Inca ruins (the fabulous Qorikancha and Saqsayhuaman). The tour also included a choice of a two hour workshop in the evening (Peruvian cuisine, chocolate, or coffee); we chose the coffee workshop and had a marvelous time. Cusco Unique Experience offers a private, personalized, attentive, and affordable tour experience of the Sacred Valley. We highly recommend it.
