This is a beautiful and interesting tour combining breathtaking nature and a very special culture. Travelers will have a unique glance at one of the most welcoming indigenous communities in Panama, have a taste of their beautiful culture and local food, learn about their history and tradition, and enjoy their joyful hospitality.
In addition, travelers can come with me on a beautiful short 30 minutes hike to a lovely waterfall where we can bathe and refresh (optional).

What To Expect
Chagres River
We will park the car at the Corotu port by the entrance to Rio Chagres national park, and take a 30-45 minutes canoe ride to a beautiful waterfall
Indigenes Embera
We will take a short hike to a beautiful waterfall we can bath in, and then we will go to the Embera village to learn about their history, tradition and culture. They will welcome us with some music, fruit and delicious fried fish and patacones

The place was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and pleasant to walk around—even at night. Omer is available at any hour, and his team is fantastic. 5.00MAGICAL DAY! We wanted an authentic adventure, and we got that and so much more. It was the perfect family day (our 7 year old daughter had an absolute blast). Just the right amount of trekking, swimming, canoeing, and spending time with the tribe. The hospitality and professionalism with Omar was truly exceptional. We hope to explore the rest of Panama with Riko Tours.

5.00We booked the Emberá Village tour through Omer at Rico Tours for my parents’ visit to Panama, and it turned out to be the highlight of their trip! 🤩 Everything was perfectly organized from beginning to end. Our guide, Victor, picked us up from the hotel and immediately set a fun vibe with a great playlist on the drive🎼 He was so kind and attentive, translating everything for my parents so they could really connect with the experience. At the village, we were greeted with so much warmth and hospitality. The tour itself was fascinating, authentic, and truly beautiful!!! 🏔️ A perfect blend of culture, nature, and genuine people. I can’t recommend this tour enough. If you’re visiting Panama, don’t miss it!
