This is a beautiful and interesting tour combining breathtaking nature and a very special culture. Travelers will have a unique glance at one of the most welcoming indigenous communities in Panama, have a taste of their beautiful culture and local food, learn about their history and tradition, and enjoy their joyful hospitality.
In addition, travelers can come with me on a beautiful short 30 minutes hike to a lovely waterfall where we can bathe and refresh (optional).

What To Expect
Chagres River
We will park the car at the Corotu port by the entrance to Rio Chagres national park, and take a 30-45 minutes canoe ride to a beautiful waterfall
Indigenes Embera
We will take a short hike to a beautiful waterfall we can bath in, and then we will go to the Embera village to learn about their history, tradition and culture. They will welcome us with some music, fruit and delicious fried fish and patacones

5.00Omer arranged multiple tours for us and all were outstanding. Daniel was our tour guide and helped translate in the village we visited. I highly recommend this experience to see a different side of Panama and learn their history and culture.

5.00MAGICAL DAY! We wanted an authentic adventure, and we got that and so much more. It was the perfect family day (our 7 year old daughter had an absolute blast). Just the right amount of trekking, swimming, canoeing, and spending time with the tribe. The hospitality and professionalism with Omar was truly exceptional. We hope to explore the rest of Panama with Riko Tours.
