The tour was everything I hoped for and more! Lionel Lee was an exceptional guide — friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly generous with his time and insights. Shifen and Jiufen were beautiful, and Lionel made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

On May 27, 2025, Lin Chengtai took me from Taipei for a full 90 minutes. It was a light rainy day, but Hayashi said, "The most important thing is for the audience to have fun!" and "Positive! Positive!" That's what got us excited. I enjoyed the sightseeing tour including various trivia, and also appreciated the attention to detail, such as quizzing and puns in the moving car. It was a very enjoyable and memorable trip.

We had poor luck with the weather, and it was overcast and rainy during our visit. I was worried that the poor weather would ruin our tour, but we still had a great time. Our guide, Allen, met us as planned at our hotel and drove us everywhere. He was very polite and knowlegable and spoke both English and Japanese extremely well, so my mixed family and I had no problems understanding him. He explained how the rains actually were feeding the river and made the Shifen waterfall even larger more impressive, which it was. It felt like a minature Niagara falls, and I'm glad we went, even in the drizzling rainy weather! The lantern painting and launching also had no issues with the weather, and we had a great time sending our wishes off into the sky. We made it to Jiufen as it was getting dark and the rain started to fall more heavily. The mist and rain made it harder to get some of the classic views, but as we snaked through the small side streets with the rain falling and the red lanterns everywhere, it felt both very active with all the people and yet muted and peaceful. I got separated from our group in the mass of people and umbrellas, but Allen quickly figured out where I had missed a turn and came to fetch me! We ate some great food and explored. I wish the weather had been a bit nicer for this part of the tour but it was still a good experience. Allen dropped us off back at our hotel, and even offered to drop us off at a different location if we wanted to finish up at a night market. It was much appreciated.

I was relieved to see how well they handled each other in Japanese and how kind they were. In Jiufen, which was very crowded, it was great to be taught how to get there smoothly. Also, I was able to check the meeting place on the map and in the photo, which was very helpful.

Children and families in the lower elementary school years used it. On the night I arrived in Taipei, I considered the Jiufen tour and booked it on my phone. It was a tour two days later, but it was a smooth booking. Two groups with a Japanese couple were enough to visit Jiufen, but the driver, Hayashi, is very good at Japanese. Also, the photo service was amazing in a huge crowd! Every time Mr. Hayashi takes a photo spot, yes, he lines up there and shoots! One after another. It was amazing to see the city, beautiful scenery and Aurora in my own eyes. Hayashi's photography skills are amazing. My child was very attached to Hayashi, so I was safe in the crowd. In Jiufen, he took a back road shortcut through crowded traffic to a delicious restaurant. After that, I was happy to be taken to a nearby shooting spot until late at night. It seems that enough is enough because the train was stopped by a cliff collapse on the way, and I think the tour is a relief because it started raining in Jiufen, the taxis disappeared and the bus queues were amazing. Finally, if the child left his hat in the car, Hayashi delivered it to the airport the next day. Thank you. I enjoyed my trip to Taiwan!

Three family members were enough to join the Jiufen tour. The guide, KAYO-chan, was very good at Japanese and explained it to me attentively. It was the first family vacation in a while and I was able to enjoy it with peace of mind. Thank you very much.

Since we were both anxious about our first trip abroad in 10 years, we asked for a way to enjoy sightseeing in peace and calm. We had them pick us up in front of our hotel in Taipei, went to a waterfall near enough, raised the lantern in enough, and it was a nine-minute sightseeing flow. Mr. Kao, who is fluent in Japanese and kind and polite, was the guide. It was raining on the way and it was getting cold, so it was really helpful to get around by car and guide people smoothly to raise the lantern. When raising the lantern, I was happy to see the attention to detail, such as taking pictures of each face of the lantern immediately with my smartphone and even taking a video of the lantern as it was raised. When I asked them if they wanted to go fortune-telling the next day, they made reservations while sightseeing, and when they were not sure what to make for dinner, they were introduced to a delicious hot pot near the hotel and dropped me off near the restaurant on my way home. It has made me a very good memory. Thank you very much.

I had the pleasure of using it as a couple with three good friends. Although the weather was terrible, thanks to the driver, Mr. Ding, I was able to fully enjoy the lamp-raising, the Jiufen and the night market, and I am grateful and grateful for the very good and kind Japanese response. Are you afraid of Osaka where we live because you have worked in Japan before? You said that, but...(laughs) If you have the chance to visit Taiwan again, I would love to ask you, so thank you for that verse. Please say hello to the driver, Ding, thank you for this time.
