Had a fantastic tour with Harriet of the area around Auckland and the beautiful nature it has to offer. Mt. Eden was a great kick off to survey the city but we then immediately headed out of the city to the coast. The walk around Piha Beach was beautiful and Karekare Falls was a special spot and very calm and lush. The winery was a great end with tasty wines and good food. Harriet was incredibly knowledgeable in many areas like history, nature, and the local culture and was very friendly and engaging. Would highly recommend this to those wanting to see the nature that is just a reasonable drive away from the city.

Great day of sight seeing! Harriet our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable, and she had interesting facts to share. We visited beautiful places but I didn’t feel rushed. It was just the right amount of time at each spot to enjoy the location and take photos.

Today was an amazing day! Wear good walking shoes but bring sandals for the beach! A few hills so if you are not good with walking up or down you’ll want to hang back at the car or check out the little shop at Mount Eden or the falls. Our guide Harriet was wonderful and full of knowledge. Such a joy to talk to and spend the day learning about the island. So much fun!

Harriet and Jerome picked us up from our hotel and curated a wonderful morning. We saw beautiful black sand beaches and a waterfall all just outside Auckland. A great tour to get a feel for the broader Auckland area.

We had a wonderful time on this sight seeing tour of Auckland. Harriet was a great tour guide and was so knowledgable! We were able to see so much including a spectacular view of the city from an extinct volcano, a beautiful beach, gorgeous waterfall, and a family owned winery for a tasting! Would definitely recommend!

It was the best tour I've done in Auckland, you get a bit of everything. Everyone was lovely especially at the winery. Harriet was pleasant and very knowledgeable and happy to answer all questions. Harriet gave some great advice on other areas of Auckland to explore and things I might be interested in. Thank you for a beautiful day.

Great combination of stops and a way to see more of the island during a cruise port stop. Harriett was a great guide and offered lots of insight, and was very helpful with all who wanted photo opportunities. Got to see the black sand beach on the west side, with huge surf (and surfers), stopped for a quick bite to eat (optional, but had a great coffee and sampled the local “meat pies”), a winery tour/tasting (which I would have purchased if the cruise wouldn’t have confiscated it), waterfall, and some relatively moderate hikes for fabulous views. I would highly recommend. Only drawback was the time spent in the van where she was sharing information, but hard to hear unless you were in the front seat or 2nd row.
