What To Expect
Douro River
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to visit the most emblematic areas of both cities, from the sea. Some of the iconic elements you will view are the Wine Caves, the Ouro Street, Clerics Church, the Rabelo Boats (used to carry the wine barrels from the north of the river) and also the Douro Estuary, a protected area with a lot of wildlife.
Douro Marina
Douro Marina opened to public in February 2012. Altogether, the work corresponded to an investment of 8.5 million euros, 2.5 million of which were allocated to floating equipment. The dock has the capacity to accommodate 300 vessels, up to 20 meters. The port has an area for boat repair and maintenance, shops, restaurants and some companies related to water sports.

3.00The tour itself was nice and fun. However, we went out into the open sea for the last 5 minutes and were soaked down to our underwear afterwards. We had to go back to the hotel and change completely. That's why we only have 3 stars.

1.00It would’ve been an amazing experience had I not been violently thrown off my seat because the captain out of no where spinned us around and around in S and circle motions. I had to spend my birthday limping around Porto with my Friend who was also injured. I felt it more the next day. Bruised arm, leg and forehead. My Friday bruised leg. If it does as the other direction I would've been thrown clean off the boat. I can add photos if need be 😔 it was disappointing I flew from the Uk to spend my birthday in town it did out a damper on things

5.00I highly recommend this activity. When you are on the boat, you have a great view on Porto & Gaia, you can take beautiful pictures. Guides are super friendly and takecaring, all is made for your safety first. It was so fun !
