After early morning breakfast, leavewith picnic lunch for a full day crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel drive vehicle. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of Ngorongoro Crater. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and was initially thought to be higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro. The crater has evolved into a unique and integral part of Tanzania’s eco-system. The crater is actually a caldera, measures 22.5 km’s across and the rim walls stand 600m high. Views from within and from the rim are breathtaking. You now drive back to Moshi for a long overdue hot shower, dinner descent bed and celebrations!!

As a locally owned company, Kilisa Tours & Safaris brings an authentic touch to the entire experience. Their deep knowledge of the mountain, culture, and environment really shows in the way they operate, making the journey feel both personal and professionally managed. The guides were highly experienced, attentive, and genuinely committed to safety and success. Daily health checks, clear briefings, and constant encouragement—especially during the summit push—made a huge difference. The support crew was equally impressive, with well-organized camps, fresh and well-prepared meals, and seamless logistics throughout. Every detail was handled with care, creating a comfortable and enjoyable trekking experience. Climbing Kilimanjaro is a powerful adventure, and choosing a strong local operator like Kilisa Tours & Safaris made it even more meaningful and unforgettable. Highly recommended.

We have done safaris in other places but I can attest that a safari to Serengeti feels different. From the beautiful landscapes of the endless plains filled with wildebeests, zebras, antelopes and the horde of carnivorous beasts led by the many lion prides on the fringes of the herds, hyenas, cheetahs that are no longer shy but come right onto the 4x4, buffalo herds, elephants, giraffes..... It is a magical land. Our guide Booker was awesome he's the main reason behind our joy and satisfaction from the trip. We were pleasantly surprised by the top quality of the lodges and tented camp that we stayed in. We had gone for the middle level accommodations but they were more like luxury lodges. I owe lots of appreciation to Naick the owner Kilisa Tours and Safaris because the actual experience delivered exceeded the promised/expected experience in all ways. The vehicle was comfortable and had great suspension, the wide view windows made sure that we had views on all the sides. The roof had a pop up sunroof that we would use to view the interesting sections. The AC worked well, the mini fridge, recharging ports..... it was a really beautiful experience that we give 100%

Sabas was an amazing guide and Adam a really good chef. The trip could not have gone better, Sabas explained everything really good and we had 6 great days together :) The safari itself was taking place in a nice and clean Toyota Landcruiser, which had no problems at all. You'll really get close to those Lions, like 1 meter from the car or even sitting next to the car.
