Never got to experience the tour only had the unfortunate experience of trying to deal with Viator. Terrible customer service, zero understanding and unable to work with anyone. Do yourself a favor and use a different booking service, this was terrible!!

The boat has limited upper seating so arrive early to get best viewing spots. Other than that the experience was really good. The tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable. He spoke clearly enough for everybody to hear him.

The boat was a little hidden. Maybe better signage on where they dock is needed. Besides that the tour was great. They showcased some beautiful views and stopped the boat in a few spots allowing for great photo ops. The staff was very friendly and the tour guide is bilingual.

The city view was breathtaking. However, the extra windy weather made it quite chilly at the top of the boat. Fortunately, we could descend to the lower deck to warm up and indulge in hot chocolates.

  • Solid harbour cruise — good, not great

We did the 60-minute harbour tour as a quick way to see Toronto from the water and overall enjoyed it. The skyline views of the CN Tower, Rogers Centre and the islands are genuinely beautiful, the boat was clean, the staff were friendly, and the price felt fair for an hour on the lake. So why not 5 bubbles? A few things kept it from being excellent. First, the GPS-based audio commentary was hard to follow. The volume on the outside deck was inconsistent — fine in some spots, almost inaudible near the engines and when other groups were chatting — and the timing didn't always line up with what we were actually looking at. Suggestion: switch to a live narrator (or at least supplement the audio with one on every sailing) and add more outdoor speakers with better balanced volume so the commentary is clearly audible from any seat on the deck. Second, seating and crowd flow were a weak point. The indoor cabin filled up fast and the movable chairs slid around, while a lot of people ended up standing or jostling for window/deck spots for photos. Suggestion: cap the number of guests per sailing (or add a few more departures at peak times) and rearrange the deck so there are clearly designated photo spots and a one-way flow, so everyone gets a turn at the rail without the bottleneck. A couple of smaller things would also push it to 5 bubbles: the boarding/check-in line at Pier 6 wasn't well marked, so it took a few minutes of wandering to figure out where to queue — clearer signage and a staff member visibly directing arrivals would help. And an on-board map of the route, either printed or on a small screen, would make it much easier to follow along with the audio. Bottom line: a pleasant, well-priced way to see the Toronto waterfront, and I'd still recommend it. With sharper commentary, better deck management and a bit more guidance at boarding, this would easily be a 5-bubble experience.
