Jerash Ruins

After breakfast, set out north toward Jerash, one of the most remarkably preserved Roman provincial cities in the Middle East. Walk through the majestic Oval Plaza, stroll along the impressive colonnaded streets, and admire landmarks such as the Nymphaeum and the grand Temple of Artemis. (Lunch optional.) Continue your journey to Ajloun, where you’ll explore the imposing 12th-century Islamic castle, built in 1184/85 under the command of the famed leader Salah al-Din to defend the region. In the evening, return to Amman for an overnight stay at your hotel.

Qsar Al-Azraq

Today’s journey takes you east into the desert to explore Jordan’s legendary Desert Castles, masterpieces of early Islamic art and architecture. Visit Qasr Amra, a UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its beautifully preserved frescoes and unique zodiac dome. Continue to the striking Qasr Kharanah, a fortress-like structure that once served travelers along desert trade routes, and the impressive black basalt fort at Azraq, used during Roman, Byzantine, and early Islamic times. Mount Nebo

After checking out from your hotel, drive to Madaba to admire the world-renowned 6th-century mosaic map of Palestine at St. George’s Church. Continue with a short ride to Mount Nebo, where tradition holds that Prophet Moses viewed the Promised Land before his death. Explore the historic monastery and take in the sweeping panoramic views of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and parts of the Holy Land. Petra

After breakfast, visit the legendary Red Rose City of Petra, Jordan’s most iconic attraction. Founded around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, this remarkable site once thrived as a commercial hub of the ancient world. Begin your exploration on horseback or on foot through the Siq, a dramatic narrow canyon that opens to Petra’s most magnificent monument—the Treasury. Continue your journey along the Street of Facades, passing the Royal Tombs and Pharaoh’s Castle, immersing yourself in over 2,000 years of history. In the afternoon, drive approximately 1.5 hours south to the protected desert wilderness of Wadi Rum, famed for its breathtaking landscapes of towering mountains, vast sand dunes, and dramatic canyons. Experience authentic Bedouin life and embark on an adventurous 4x4 Jeep safari, discovering ancient rock inscriptions and natural wonders. End the day with dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional desert camp under the starlit sky.

Aqaba Marine Park

After breakfast, drive approximately 45 minutes south to the coastal city of Aqaba, Jordan’s gateway to the Red Sea. Here, you can choose from a variety of optional marine activities, such as a glass-bottom boat cruise to admire the vibrant coral reefs and colorful marine life. Alternatively, spend the day at leisure, relaxing by the sea or exploring Aqaba’s charming markets and cafés. End the day with an overnight stay in Aqaba.

After breakfast, your unforgettable Jordan adventure comes to an end. Check-out from your hotel is usually around noon. At the appropriate time, enjoy your private transfer to Queen Alia International Airport for your departure flight.
