Dusty Roads Safari is the best local Safari tours in Arusha.. locally owned. Unmatched experiences I took a nine day Safari to Tarengerie, Ngorogoro and Serengeti and then stayed at Ngunwi beach in Zanzibar! Geoffery Mollel was my guide and he found everything! All the big 5 all the birds and cheetahs and herds of elephants and best hotels and Osero tented camp! All hotels excellent! I saw lions hunting Cape Buffalo.. I saw cute Dik diks and hyena and warthog smiling at me! I took the balloon ride in the Serengeti.. I bought Tanzanite and African carvings! I swam with dolphins! The price is reasonable my guide Geoffery catered to what I wanted to see! I danced in a Massai village and got beautiful jewelry. The beaches of the Indian Ocean there are breath breathtaking a ribbon of dark blue on top of a crystal clear glittering surface.. eels, pufferfish , huge starfish I love LOVED it!!!

The services of Dusty Roads and guide Geoff far exceeded our expectations. We had been dreaming of a trip to Africa for many years. When a friend returned from Africa and enthusiastically recommended Dusty Roads and Geoff, we felt comfortable in hiring them for an 8 day safari. Communication with Mollel helped us determine an itinerary best suited for us and for the time of year for our trip. We were amazed by the September Great Migration in Northern Serengeti as well as the great number and variety of animals and birds we saw in Central Serengeti and in Ngorogoro. Geoff is an outstanding guide with many years of experience, great knowledge of African animals and birds and has a keen eye for sighting and identifying them. He is a wonderful person to spend 8 days with- patient, kind, friendly, flexible, punctual, enthusiastic and considerate. He is the BEST! The accommodations were all excellent with welcoming and friendly staff, delicious food and comfortable, spacious rooms/tents. We especially enjoyed the tasty meals at Osero Serengeti Tented Camp. Without hesitation, we highly recommend Dusty Roads and guide Geoff. We would certainly be happy to contract with them again if we were to return.

Lovely safari with Geoff, he is one of the best guides I have ever come across. I requested him specifically because he came well recommended. As many others have mentioned he has an uncanny ability to spot animals even in the far off distance. He noticed a black rhino at about 100m away and a chacal which was only a tiny dot on a large plain. He knew the name of so many birds and animals which was extremely impressive. He also spotted a caracal crossing the road which I saw but couldn’t identify because it was running so fast. I wasn’t able to photograph it but I did see it when it was on the side of the road running deeper into the bush. Regarding my itinerary, it was good but I think perhaps it would have been good to have more advice on what each area of the Serengeti is known for so that I could tailor my stay more. In hindsight I would probably have wanted to see the northern parts and skip the crater. Regarding the lodgings, they were fine (except one which I really didn’t like because the service and amenities were not great). I stayed in a tented lodge and though it was fine, I think I’d probably want to stay in a different location next time because it was small and there were not many other people there, it would have been nice to meet more people. To be fair I am not fond of camping and it probably coloured my perception of the tented lodge. Thanks to the entire team for this experience!

Dusty Roads accommodated us (group of 3) really well, with good communication before the trip (9 days). Our guide, Jeff, was amazing. He made our trip so fun, exciting and was ready with all the information about the wildlife and answered all our questions. He exceeded our expectations and showed us so much and we got to experience the beauty of Tanzania and all of the big 5. He gave us lots of opportunities to see everything and taught us some Swahili. He was the best guide! Request him early as he gets requested a lot! The accommodation and food were better than I had expected! Great job, Dusty Roads and Jeff!

My fiance and I recently climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro and completed 7 days safari with Dusty Roads Tours after the climb. They were an excellent company from start to finish. We had a fabulous time on the mountain with an outstanding porter team and two wonderful guides. We hit a terrible blizzard on our ascent day/night and we would not have made it to the summit without them! Many climbers did not make the summit that day. The food was excellent during our hiking tour and the service, camping gear, and tents were top notch. After the mountain, we enjoyed safaris in Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. Jeff was our guide and was an excellent driver and outstanding safari guide. He was incredible in how he could spot so many animals from such a distance. I know why he has earned the name "eagle eye!" He was also so knowledgeable about all other animals which was wonderful for us to learn about their behaviors and habitats. We had such a fantastic week with him and we highly recommend him as a guide and driver. We loved our time in Tanzania from start to finish and we cannot wait to come back again with Dusty Roads.

An amazing Safari made better by our "Eagle Eyed" guide Jeff!! We booked the 8 day/7 night Safari with Dusty Roads and from start to finish they were great to work with. Molell answered our questions and helped shape our custom tour. We were delayed by the airlines and Dusty Roads even stepped up to help navigate the flight changes and put some tickets on hold for us in case the airline didn't cooperate. Our Safari guide Jeff, was at the Airport to meet us and was very friendly and informative, a welcome treat after our long journey from New York. Due to the late arrival of our flight the 1st day's activities were modified & rescheduled. The next day we drove through Ngorongoro to the Serengeti, this is a long drive. We were barely 15km into the Serengeti park when Jeff spotted a group of lions 20 feet from the road. This may seem like an easy task until you are there and see how well the animals blend in with their environment. The drive through the Serengeti was nearly non-stop animal spotting. We saw so many animals and took so many (1000's) pictures we arrived at Osero Tented Camp after dark but super happy! The Next Day Jeff again amazed us with his skill at spotting animals! At one point Jeff spotted a Cheetah in the shade of a small bush, look at the attached photo to see how hard that is!!! The trip was a wonderful experience we won't forget; it was absolutely wonderful because of the right tour company & the right guide. Your guide will be with you for long hours and is a great reference and aide with any issues. If you have the ability and the time take a trip to the beautiful country of Tanzania while the crowds are still low and have Jeff from Dusty Roads show you the best of the Big Game!! Highly recommend Dusty Roads, Jeff was a very safe driver and clearly cares for the environment & well-being of the animals!!! Jeff is a walking encyclopedia!

We chose this tour-maker due to great ratings. And they were right! Abel was always at hand giving us support and very responsive to our requests. We did some changes to the original itinerary and they handled it great. They even arranged for a PCR test upon our return from safari. (We needed that for our trip home). Always very punctual, a rarity otherwise in this trip. The driver, Jeff, is a wonderful man, very calm and kind, but extremely agile in spotting the animals and bringing us close to them, without spooking nor stressing them. We got to see THE BIG FIVE and many, many more animals. (And we were there a bit off-season) Thank you Jeff for that ! ! !

Thank you so much Jeff for this great tour that we did you with you last July 2019. We booked our Tour at Home everything was easy going and the office team did a great job. We changed a little bit from the standard itinerary. But that was not a big problem. At the first day our guide Jeff picked us up at the airport. The safari car wasn't the newest one but in good condition. Jeff was a very nice Guide, he was very knowledgeable and know so many story's about the people in the area and also from the nature and the animals. We enjoy our trip in Tanzania. We can recommend Dusty Roads and Jeff so much. 5 Stars, great Company, great Driver and we enjoy our Safari with perfect Lodges.

We had Dusty Roads put together a seven-day safari according to our wishes for the period from 31.10. to 6.11.19. We visited Natron Lake, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Jeff (Geoffrey Mollel), our driver, had an excellent eye for spotting animals. Without him, we certainly wouldn't have spotted the animals. He was also an excellent driver who mastered the pitfalls of Tanzanian roads in the best possible way. Great!
