My son and I enjoyed this excellent tour immensely. Our tour guide Gompo had an extensive knowledge of Tibetan history, culture and buddhist practices and this made it a memorable trip. He was also very friendly and helped us find good Tibetan restaurants. He made sure that we were always comfortable and not having issues with altitude sickness. Oxygen was always in the vehicle if anyone had issues but this was not required by most of us. The hotels used for the trip in Lhasa, Shigatse and Gyirong were all comfortable and clean. We stayed in the tented camp at EBC and we had a separate room with beds, doonas and blankets which kept us warm in the cold conditions. The nearby view of Everest at sunrise and sunset was the memory of a lifetime. Gompo helped at the border with Nepal to make sure everyone got through OK. The road to Kathmandu on the other side is unsurfaced for much of the way and the group of 12 was split into three separate four wheel drive vehicles. The Tibet section is all in a single minibus driving on surfaced roads. This made the drive very comfortable as Fung was an excellent driver. I booked the trip directly on line with Tibet Vista and I wish to complement Kristin for the great help she gave me in answering all my questions and completing the booking. I would thoroughly recommend this tour with Tibet Vista.

We chose this tour as part of our honey moon, and we could not be more satisfied. Choezom was an exceptional guide, explaining so many things in a clear way and always listening to our questions and needs. The driver, Karma, was patient and nice, he drove us safely to all the places we visited, letting us taking pictures wherever we wanted to. As the costs, the price is very convenient for all the places we visited. You can stay safe with Choezom and Karma, they will take care of everything you need. Also, she gave us some good suggestions about the EBC camp and the weather forecast. Highly, highly, highly recommend tour and guide!

Had an incredible tour with Tibet Vista. Was really impressed during the initial booking and planning phase… our assigned agent Gigi was very responsive and extremely accommodating while helping us plan our itinerary from Beijing to Lhasa for the tour. After arriving in Lhasa, our guide Choezom began what has been one of the greatest tours I have ever been on. After a couple days of exploring the monasteries and palaces of Lhasa, she and our driver Karma took us through the stunning and surreal landscape of rural Tibet; stopping at breathtaking viewpoints, having incredible food and meeting a variety of wonderful people. We had excellent weather for our stay at Everest base camp; certainly one of the greatest things I have ever seen. I can’t express enough how impressed I was with everything Tibet Vista provided. From the booking process to the guiding of the tour to the sights, meals and people of Tibet, this has truly been one of the greatest travel experiences of my life.

We have just completed an 7 day overland tour with Tibet Vista from Lhasa to Kathmandu. From start to finish the organisation pre your and the tour itself exceeded my expectations expectation. Our guide Kunga was so knowledgeable he enriched our experience and we learnt a lot about Tibet and its culture. He was organised and professional with excellent English. The transport and hotel options picked were great. The guest house at Everest base camp Tibet side was the best the area had on offer! Zoe in the office also organised our Tibetan permit tickets for the train from Xinning to Lhasa and our three nights in Kathmandu after the tour and also day tours in Kathmandu. Just ask them and they will try to package something up to what you wish to do. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tibet Vista. Rhonda Toowoomba Australia

I cant recommend TibetVista highly enough. I found them online because kf their Mount everest tour but I additionally wanted orger steps before and after that tour. I emailed 3 companies, only Tibet Vista replied. Mary worked hand in hand with me to finalise my itinerary and when it came to the trip itself their planning, their guides, their customer service, their problem solving were exemplary. And all at a very fair price. They made my trip satisfaction their priority, and they have people who are fun to be with, and very passionate and knowledgable.. If planning another similar trip i wouldnt even bother looking at other companies.

Excellent tour with excellent guide What a journey ! Got to see Lhasa and experience Tibetan culture - seeing monks debating live was a one of a kind experience. The tour then took us across Tibet’s countryside and the vast plateau all the way to Mount Everest base camp which was truly exhilarating from our first peak of the peak. Tibet Vista did a great job with the itinerary- with the right amount of time to acclimate to the higher elevations. Our guide, Tseyang, was top notch. She was very knowledgeable, very organized , made everything seamless and easy, was super friendly/kind/funny and caring to ensure we all adapted to the new elevations safely. Tseyang was very attentive to everyone on the tour and assured each and everyone one we would get to EBC and have a glimpse of Everest — which we certainly did ! In short, this was a 5-star experience for me. If visiting Tibet, I strongly recommend Tibet Vista as the tour operator of choice and Tseyang as the tour guide of choice if she is available.
