  We did a 7-day tour, which we adapted with the help of the Zaid staff, who were very responsive and helpful. Abood, our driver/guide for the whole tour, was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. We chose to organise our own accommodation and he accompanied us from the airport at the start of the tour to the airport at the end of the tour. He made sure that we were checked in to each hotel and was very willing to call ahead or deal with any issues. He was proactive in ensuring that we had good, knowledgable, English-speaking guides at each location and made sure that we got the best from our first visiit to Jordan. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were always given as much time as we wanted to appreciate each site. The cars were very comfortable - a saloon car around Amman and a 4x4 for our journey south to Petra and the desert. Abood was an excellent driver - very safe and calm. Thank you Abood for taking good care of us, and for your kind gift.

• Jordan - Amazing and memorable trip, except for Aladdin camp

  From the time of our arrival our guide Mahmoud was super professional and catered to all our needs and went above and beyond to make our visit to Jordan an amazing trip , we can't thank him enough. Our guide Ahmad in Petra was very informative and certainly enriched our experience. We absolutely loved the Old Village Hotel in Petra with delectable food and super friendly staff. We booked the Luxury option and found it was good value for money. Except for our stay at Aladdin Camp in the Wadi Rum. Our room (Martin Dome) was tatty but clean, the aircon was only switched on just as we arrived and the room was extremely unbearably hot. The rest of the hotel, had broken night lanterns along the pathways and most were not working making it difficult to get to our room at night. Aladdin camp is lacking maintenance. The manager wasn't friendly or helpful, we requested star gazing instead of the "disco" evening upon our arrival as advertised at the reception area, regrettably we were not contacted and nobody could assist us, leaving us with a well below average meal and very loud music instead of a beautiful starry tranquil night in the dessert. Certainly not 5 star at all. The desert driver/guide, was too occupied with his son and did not give us the attention and information of the desert drive. To add insult to injury the next morning our transfer was delayed as the desert driver/guide never turned up as arranged. The manager just kept telling us 10 minuets every time we enquired. Eventually after an hour and a half we were taken to our driver Mahmoud, by another desert driver. Not a great experience which is a pity given that the dessert is so magnificent. Our trip was filled with breathtaking views, ancient historic sites, truly a vibrant place with a unique blend of the old new and well worth a visit.

  Before coming here, we did not know Jordan was so rich in history. But now… I would definitely recommend coming to Jordan. The culture, the history, the people… all A+ from me. Of course, our wonderful tour guide Bassam painted this colourful, detailed picture for us. He was wonderful, so knowledgeable and so so very caring and helpful. Makes our driver was equally sweet and kind and funny. Hotels were clean, food was good. The tour was well planned, packed jammed full and well thought out. We were met at the airport by the agency with our visas all ready, who helped us with the passport control as well as checkin at the hotel. Very well thought of by the operator. Definitely recommended.

  We booked this trip and elected 4.5 star hotels. From start to finish the tour was excellent. Our driver Ahmad was great, informative, punctual and friendly. The hotels were excellent, the food was great and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The tour exceeded our expectations by far. When we were driving to different locations, our driver stopped at several points to show us extra sights. We can only recommend this tour. It was also great that our visas were ready for us at the airport and someone picked us up and helped us through the border. • Amazing holiday in Jordan

  We booked this tour back in Feb and about a month before our trip, the airline we used changed the dates of our arrival/departure. We were devastated as we thought we wont be able to make this tour anymore as it starts on Sunday and finishes on Sunday. We have contacted Zaid Tours and they were really very helpful in rearranging everything for us to fit our new dates. They were responding to all our questions within few hours. On the arrival we were welcomed by one of the Zaid Tours employees who had our visas ready for us to ensure smooth passage though immigration. Our guide Firas was waiting for us outside and on the way to the hotel he explained our itinerary for the first day. He is so far THE BEST guide we had on all of our travels. He was very informative, answered all our questions with very good sense of humor. We were a group of 6 people - 3 different nationalities & had a great banter. Firas made sure there was not a silent moment in the car & atmosphere was always good. By end of the every day he would explain our itinerary for the next day and made sure we are happy with it. I would highly recommend to do Petra at Night & add 2 extra hours to jeep tour in Wadi Rum. We had an amazing local guide Abdullah who showed us the best spots for pics and made a yummy tea in the middle of the desert. We have also upgraded our stay in Wadi Rum to a Martian Dome which was an incredible experience. The only downside would be the variety of food in the hotels & when we stayed in Petra Corner hotel there was no water for the entire morning. I will definitely recommend Zaid Tours & specially Firas as a guide to everyone.

  Everything was superb!!! Mr. Junior provided excellent visa services. Mr. Munther was a great driver and tour manager! He was very accommodating, caring and attentive. We were very blessed. We had a fantastic trip. Thank you Zaid Tours and Travel! • 7 Night Jordan Tour with great Guides

  I decided to book a 7 night Jordan tour a little over one week in advance. Right off the bat, the tour company was attentive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. They handled all of the airport logistics which helped save a ton of time. The pace of the trip was great. The itinerary is very flexible and we managed to add on Petra by Night and a quick stop at the Wadi Rum train station. Our driver and guide for the trip, Hasan, was extremely personable and full of knowledge. His many years of experience showed through with close connections at each of the destinations. He was very organized and arranged all details for each attraction in advance, we rarely had to wait for any activity. His car is new (2021 model) and clean.   Just back from fantastic Jordan trip. Seen Jerash, Ajloun, Dead Sea, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, downtown Amman including Amphi Theater and Citadel. Thanks to excellent and knowledgeable driver/guide Basil who took such good care of us. My highest recommendations . We will be back !

  We were glad we went on the tour because we saw many things to see and do, and had fun on our own. Tour guide did not give information on what was expected of us, like when to eat and where to go to eat. He was not enthusiastic about the tour.
