This is a great day, and relatively easy - although there are a few hills and some sandy patches. The magnificent sweeping views of the coast from cliff-top vantage points, and the towering granite cliffs of Willyabrup are two of many highlights. If the weather's nice, you might enjoy a refreshing swim in the sheltered bay at Gracetown. Or just soak those feet as you reflect on another great day on the Cape to Cape track.

It's fairly easy walking among coastal heath to Ellensbrook historic homestead, where you can enjoy morning tea and explore the grounds. The track then takes an inland route, which gives us a good appreciation of the landscape away from the ocean for a while. After lunch we're back on the coast, and a very pleasant beach walk takes us to Cape Mentelle. We finish the day at the Margaret River mouth - a good place for a swim if it's warm. Today there is an opt out spot at Ellenbrook homestead where we stop for morning tea, shortening todays walk to 7km.

Despite the distance, today is not usually considered the most difficult. Today there is an opt out spot at Contos Campground where we stop for afternoon tea. This shortens todays walk to 17kms.

Our recent trip with Inspiration Outdoors to Karijini and Ningaloo Reef was a fabulous experience. The scenery was amazing, the guides, Heather and Lucas, were friendly, capable and supportive, and food variety and quality and its preparation were outstanding. This tour, although challenging at times, enabled us to safely enjoy the grandeur of the Karijini gorges and the beauty of the Ningaloo Reef marine life, especially swimming with the whale sharks. We had a fabulous group of likeminded people to share this experience with.

This is a beautiful part of Australia and I was lucky enough to share the experience with a cousin and a fabulous group of people also on the tour. The knowledge of the guides was phenomenal and their kindness and beautiful personalities enhanced the experience! Thank you Seriah, Maurice and Simone! We were spoilt with wonderful weather and amazing scenery. The accommodation was great and we were treated to the exceptional food of the Margaret River region. The side trip to a local winery was an added bonus.! I highly recommend this tour and would do it again in a heart beat .

This trip was absolutely fantastic. I was so lucky to be joined by fabulous companions on this walk along with exceptional guides - Seriah, Maurice and Simone. The scenery was beyond amazing, the accomodation was great and the food was outstanding. We got taken to excellent restaurants in the area where we got to sample beautiful local produce of a high quality. I have nothing negative to say, nothing was too much trouble for our guides who were enthusiastic, organised and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.

Outstanding walk, wonderful company, food. Inspiration Outdoors is consistently good. Love being able to do a tough walk, some of it not great weather and then going back to a hot shower and clean sheets

A beautiful part of Australia, a relative easy walk for those with a great base of endurance. A massive shoutout to Seriah and Maurice, absolute rockstar guides and just all-around beautiful humans. Their knowledge, patience, and energy made this trip what it was, and I feel so damn lucky to have met them. And Simone, what a legend! His first time guiding this tour, and you’d never know it. A natural at reading people, always listening with his heart, and bringing so much warmth to the experience. Grateful to have shared this adventure with such an incredible crew!

Every component of the trek was well thought through and was a pleasure to complete. Personal and group safety, sumptuous meals, comfortable accommodation, extra walking activities (wine tasting at Vasse Felix), alteratives to the full trek and advice on how to physically prepare for the adventure meant that the trip was A++!!

What a truly awesome trip this is - in everyway. Firstly the walk itself is truly stunning. 8 days is the perfect length of time. The coast and walking through the Karri Forest are beautiful. The base in Margaret River was the perfect location. What made this extra special was two amazing guides. From dawn to dusk (and beyond) they looked after everything. This was our first group walk and we enjoyed everything about the experience. Special thanks again to Michael and Aiden. Highly recommend!!

We can’t fault our guides Aiden and Campbell, their good humour and bonus in-character colonial reenactments. The walk is spectacular, the food and accommodation spot on. We loved it!
