Our family had a fantastic time in Iceland for 8 days following Troll tour and our trip was more exciting and enjoyable with John as our tour guide. He is not an ordinary tour guide, he has passion for his work, he is knowledgeable, we love his geography lectures 😂 Amid challenging weather he make sure that we are safe when we visit each viewpoint, constantly remind us to avoid dangerous areas. We love the restaurants that intro to us, we love those extra stops too. What a wonderful 8 days.

It was wise to go for this tour in Iceland since we are not familiar with driving under this kind of snowy winter. Also, we couldn't have learned as much as we did with professor John ! A knowledgeable geographer , he explains every detail and he also adds extra stops in very cool places , but pay attention because there are quizzes! Thanks John for being so dedicated , passionate and gentle . Thanks to all the group, we made grest friends. You are all welcome in México. Finally thanks John for making my b-day special with the music and disco light . Didnt see that coming! Rumanian chocolate was delicious.

    1. Guide performance (most recommended): Special thanks to our tour guide Johann. His performance is very professional and responsible, not only is the trip properly arranged, but the care for the crew is also very on-site, which is the most important addition to the whole trip. If there is a chance to follow his team, really very lucky. 2. Essential experience: • Icelandic horse riding: The experience is superb, the Icelandic horse character is warm and unique, riding in the natural beauty of Iceland is a very memorable memory. • LAVA CAVE (Lava Cave): The cave is very well explained, the experience process is well arranged, and you can learn more about Iceland’s unique volcanic geology. 3. Regrets (Ice Cave Tour): The most unfortunate this time is the ice hole part. Originally expected was the most common and bright "blue ice hole" on the web, but actually went to the "black ice hole". Although the structure of glaciers is special, the visual discrepancy is great. In addition, the whole ice hole journey feels a little smooth, only looking at two ice holes ends, actually staying in the hole only about an hour, it feels time allocation can be a little more abundant. Summary: Except for the ice hole journey and the expectations, the rest of it is very wonderful. Especially Johann’s guided tour and Icelandic horse experience make this eight-day tour the perfect point.

  • Very pleasant beautiful trip from the get go
