This is not a group tour — it’s a private expedition for 1 to 3 travelers, designed for those who seek the rare and the real.

You’ll explore the most remote corners of Socotra with a dedicated team: hike through surreal Dragon Blood Tree forests, swim in turquoise lagoons, visit hidden caves and untouched beaches — all at your own pace, without crowds.

With a private 4x4 vehicle, your own guide and tour leader, and the freedom to adapt the experience to your rhythm, this is the most personal and immersive way to discover Socotra.

We take care of everything — from visas and domestic flights to camping gear and daily logistics — so you can focus entirely on the journey.

Dihamri Marine Protected Area

After a long journey, you’ll finally step foot on Socotra — one of the world’s most remote and unique islands. Our local guide will greet you at the airport, and we’ll head straight toward the coastline to begin the adventure. We stop in the capital, Hadiboh, for a quick lunch in a local restaurant where you can try fresh seafood and traditional Yemeni flavors. Then we continue to the Dihamri Marine Protected Area — a quiet lagoon with crystal-clear waters and coral reefs. It’s a perfect spot for a first swim or snorkeling session. We’ll spend the night in bamboo huts right on the beach, surrounded by nature. As the sun sets and the stars come out, you’ll feel the pace of life slow down. This is the beginning of your Socotra experience.

Homhil Protected Area

We start the day with a peaceful breakfast by the sea, then head inland toward one of Socotra’s natural gems — Karia Lagoon. This wide, shallow lagoon is home to migratory birds like flamingos, surrounded by mangroves and soft hills. We make a short stop here to walk along the water and take in the surreal landscape. From there, we drive into the highlands toward Homhil Nature Sanctuary, known for its iconic Dragon Blood Trees and panoramic hiking trails. After a short trek through rocky paths and endemic vegetation, we reach a natural freshwater pool perched above a cliff — a perfect place to cool off while enjoying breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea stretching below. In the evening, we settle into a remote mountain campsite, share stories over dinner, and fall asleep under the stars.

Arher Beach

After breakfast, we head into the rocky interior of Socotra for a real off-the-map adventure. Our goal is Hoq Cave, one of the island’s largest and most mysterious natural formations. We hike for about 2.5 hours through narrow canyons and ancient landscapes filled with endemic trees. Once inside the cave, the temperature drops and silence takes over. You'll see massive stalactites and stalagmites, underground pools, and even traces of early human settlement. After exploring the cave, we continue to the Arher region on the northern coast — where freshwater springs flow into the sea, and towering sand dunes rise dramatically beside the cliffs. You can cool off in the lagoon, climb the golden dunes for panoramic views, or just relax by the sea.

Aomak Beach

Today we explore the southern coast of Socotra — a region that feels completely different from the north. Our first stop is Aomak Beach, a wide, empty stretch of golden sand and rolling waves. It’s the perfect spot for a swim, a short walk, or simply to enjoy the sound of the ocean. We then visit Dagub Cave, a natural shelter once used by nomads. Inside, we find dramatic rock formations, small freshwater pools, and ancient rock art still visible on the walls. In the afternoon, we head toward one of Socotra’s most surreal landscapes — the Hayf and Zahek sand dunes. These massive golden hills rise up near rocky mountains, creating a striking contrast you won’t find anywhere else. We stay here until sunset, watching the dunes change color as the light fades.

This morning we travel to one of Socotra’s most iconic and mystical landscapes — the Dixam Plateau. The drive takes us high into the mountains, where we stop at Wadi Dirhur, a deep canyon with stunning rock formations and a dramatic 700-meter drop. It’s a place of silence, scale, and unbelievable views. Then we reach the Firmihin Forest — home to the world’s largest collection of Dragon Blood Trees. These ancient, umbrella-shaped trees are found only on Socotra and are named after the deep red resin they produce. Walking among them feels like stepping onto another planet. We’ll meet local Bedouins, share tea, hear island legends, and watch the sunset from one of the most peaceful places on Earth.

Later, we drive to the fishing village of Qalansiyah, where we board a small boat for a scenic ride along the coastline. Along the way, you might spot dolphins, sea birds, and dramatic coastal cliffs. We arrive at Shuab Beach — a secluded, untouched stretch of sand backed by palm trees and clear, calm water. It’s one of the island’s best places to swim, unwind, and enjoy pure solitude. After a peaceful afternoon, we return by boat and settle into our seaside campsite near Detwah Lagoon.

In the afternoon, we head to Delisha Beach — a peaceful spot with white sand, calm water, and soft dunes. It's perfect for a swim, a nap in the shade, or a final barefoot walk along the shore.
