What To Expect
Day 1 - Kochi Airport-Munnar When you arrive at Kochi airport you will be received at the arrival terminal by our representative. We will proceed on a drive to Munnar . Take pit stops oat the Waterfalls on the way to Munnar . Check into the resort for overnight stay. Day 2 - Munnar-Munnar Sight seeing After breakfast, spend the day in local sightseeing in Munnar. Munnar drives its name from the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. Mattupetty is a popular picnic spot where you can opt for activities like boating and horse riding. Close by is the Echo Point, which offers you a panoramic view and the thrill of hearing your voice echo. Popular sightseeing spots in Munnar that can be visited also include Poopara, Pothanmedu, Mattupetty Indo Swiss Project, Eravikulam National Park. Overnight stay at the resort in Munnar. Day 3- Munnar to Thekkady After breakfast, checkout from the resort in Munnar and drive to Thekkady, on arrival check-in at the resort. Thekkady is well known for one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves -Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary and opt for a cruise on Lake Periyar. During the boat ride spot the wild life (elephants, Indian Gaur, Monkeys, Spotted deer and birds of myriad varieties). Overnight stay at the resort. Day 4 - Thekkady-Kumarakom (Houseboat) After breakfast checkout from the resort in Thekkady and proceed to Kumarakom. Set out for an awesome overnight backwater cruise in a traditional Kerala houseboat. While cruising in the houseboat look out for rustic homes and swaying coconut trees in Kerala country side.All meals will be served on board. Overnight Stay in the houseboat. Day 5- Kumarakom-Alleppey Checkout from Kumarakom and proceed to Alleppey. Enjoy the backwater sights from your resort after check in and relax for rest of the day. Overnight at the resort. Day 6- Alleppey-Kovalam After breakfast checkout from Alleppey and proceed to Kovalam. Kovalam is one of the best beaches in India and is well known all over the world because of its natural location, a rocky promontory jutting into the sea and a beach which is rendered safe for sea bathing. Check in at the resort and enjoy the pristine beaches . Overnight Stay in the resort. Day 7- Kovalam-Kanyakumari After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kanyakumari. Enjoy Kanyakumari, the boat trip to the memorial and the beach during the day and sunset in the evening. Return to the resort at Kovalam for the overnight stay. Day 8- Departure Drop Trivandrum International Airport / Trivandrum city tour / shopping if time permit

5.00We left from Cochi on a circuit to Trivandrum, with 1 night stips in different locations. Shajeer was our amazing driver the entire trip. He guided us on the way with infos, sites to see in the areas we where reaching, helped solve unplanned problems, great shops. He made us feel like VIPs.

5.00Kerala was a dream vacation for us.It was planed perfectly by Iris Holidays for 8/7 nights. Arun Dev had accomodate all our needs, and gave us tailor-made iternary as required. Everythg was smooth from begining to the end of our vacation. As how Arun Dev and done his part, same goes for Sadiq, our guide who make our journey a fantastic one. He not only drive us, but his knowledge on places we visited and explaination given make us know the purpose of visiting certain places. Other than that, Sadiq also concern on our safety and keep touch where ever we go. He had create a brother bonding for all of us. Tq Sadiq. As overall, Iris Holidays has professional members who provides excellent service. We will back again Iris Holidays. Fee/ Cost: Reasonable with service.

5.00My husband and I enjoyed our trip a lot. This was our 2nd time experiencing the beauty of Kerala. Iris travels customised our holiday to our liking. We saw Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Alleppey (Private houseboat) and Kochi. Our thanks to our travel agent George Joseph for booking our trip, our excellent and knowledgeable and patient driver Kabeer, Joseph our informative guide in Kochi. We will recommend this tour full heartedly. Even the crew on the houseboat boat in Alappuzha were so helpful and the meals were meant for a King and a Queen.

5.00We were a group of 18 people who recently went on a 6-day Kerala tour that started from Coimbatore and ended in Trivandrum. The entire itinerary was planned by Iris Holidays, and they also arranged our bus transportation and hotel bookings. At two locations, we faced minor issues with room allotment in the hotels. We reported this to Sheela Madam from Iris Holidays, and she responded promptly and resolved the problems without delay. Her support and responsiveness were truly appreciated. The bus arranged by Iris Holidays was excellent, and both the driver and conductor were extremely polite and cooperative. They drove safely throughout the journey and treated us with great respect and professionalism. Overall, thanks to Iris Holidays, our Kerala trip became a truly memorable experience. Special thanks to Sheela Madam and the entire Iris Holidays team for their wonderful service.

5.00What a perfect way to explore India for 2 weeks… reliable and adventurous! Two couples fit comfortably in the Toyota Innova with our driver Anoop. We saw the best of South India including wild elephants and gorgeous tea plantations. We would recommend Iris Tours, and especially Anoop as a driver!

5.00We had a really wonderful time in Kerala over 8 nights. From the very beginning and organising the trip with Saranya, everything was very smooth and simple and we had great communication. Saranya was open to making amends as we asked for them to make the trip perfect for us. We decided to have 2 nights Kochi, 2 nights Munnar, 1 night on a houseboat and then 3 nights at Marari Beach. We were met at the airport by Vipin our driver for the week who was brilliant - always on time and where he said he would be, with a big smile and a comfy clean car. He took us to some great spots for lunch etc on the way to our different hotels, stopping en route for different activities - but never pressuring if we didnt want to - and organising things like hiking in Munnar for us. There was also a mix up with our final hotel over dates somehow which meant we needed to be moved to another hotel, and Saranya very quickly organised for us to have a night an an even more luxurious resort. It was a truly wonderful trip and I would wholly recommend going with Iris.

5.00From the initial inquiry, all my interactions with Iris Holidays have been highly professional. Their responsiveness and attention to detail have been outstanding. Even though all the accommodation was excellent it was difficult to enjoy being in 4 star luxury knowing that my driver was sleeping in his car somewhere, but I understand that is normal procedure here.
