Zhygylgan

The first location is a viewpoint of Zhygylgan, which means fallen earth in Kazakh. A really huge layer of coquina (about 10 km in diameter) has fallen into the wasteland.

After sitting on steep ledges we will go to white colored Kapamsay canyon. There is a unique spot here - a chalk dome with trees growing underneath, A quick lunch in the canyon and we need to move on as we have a very busy first day.

Cave-Ata Mosque Shakpak

The next location is Shakpak Ata - underground mosque, it is the most beautiful and the biggest underground mosque in Mangystau.

Torysh - Valley of Balls

After visiting Shakpak Ata we will have about an hour to drive to the field of globular nodules Torysh, where we will spend time here until sunset exploring the round-shaped stones.

And already at dusk we will reach the mysterious chinks of Ayrakty valley, where we have our camp prepared for guests. Hot showers and delicious dinner are awaiting

We meet the dawn at the steep walls of the Ayrakty walley. Here in the gorge closed from winds we wake up and drink a cup of freshly brewed coffee, have breakfast and go to the most picturesque Ybykty canyon , which is also called the openwork canyon

The canyon is located away from other tourist locations and main roads, so it will take us almost a whole day to visit this amazing place. After driving for about two hours on steppe roads, we finally reach an unremarkable chalk chink, but the canyon is hidden in the depths, and its entrance is closed by steep ledges. Only when you're inside can we can imagine how many thousands of years it took nature to create such a work of art. Here we will spend a couple of hours exploring the canyon both inside and from above, have lunch and get ready for the return trip to see the sunset in Ayrakty valley.

Sor Tuzbair

Early breakfast and packing, we get in our cars and drive off in search of ancient megalladon teeth. But before that, we stop at the edge of the white wasteland, see the Tuzbair Sor from above, The most courageous and insured travelers can stand on a tongue right above the abyss. Then we drive up to the Sphinx, where an hour and a half of unusual discoveries await us. Searching for teeth is a very exciting activity and usually an hour passes like 15 minutes. Having hardly broken away from the paleontological excavations we will have lunch near the Sphinx and go along the cliff to the descent to the salt lake, where in one of the hidden canyons the camp team will prepare for us a camp and a fire. At night we will be able to watch thousands of stars against the background of chalky steep walls.

Sor Tuzbair

Today we are in no hurry to get anywhere, we dedicate the The first part of the day we have a free program, you can just chill on vinbegs, you can sunbathe, or explore the nearest canyons. After lunch we drive to a secret canyon, where we will see how water and wind carve the walls of chalk and coquina and give them a fabulous appearance. The most diligent will be able to find a rock with imprints of ammonites and other ancient fossils. After the canyon we drive to the Arch of Tuzbair, here we will climb the arch, come out on the other side and find that the sun is already moving towards the horizon. It's a good time to go out on the flat surface of the salt marsh and see off the sun. After sunset we will return to the already so native and cozy canyon, where the chef will cook for us one of the delicious national dishes. After dinner we move to the night fire, where we will spend a couple more hours in conversations, drinking hot tea with fragrant herbs, watching the stars

Before coming to our next camp, we are going for Kyzylkup or Tiramisu, locals have nicknamed this tract because walking on the striped slides you have an impression that you are walking on a huge piece of dessert, but to us, experienced travelers this place reminds something between the Wave Canyon in Arizona and rainbow mountains in Peru. Here we will stay for a couple of hours and have a lunch from our lunchboxes. Our camp will be fully set up by this time and a hot chef's dinner will await guests from the road. Today is an important day. Today we will ascend the most epic viewpoint of Bozjyra and come face to face with its fangs. We're in for a challenging hike up the smooth protrusions of the mountain, but we'll definitely make it and in less than an hour we'll be climbing the cherry on the cake. Aktau

Everyone who wants to see the sunrise on Bozjyra, to take beautiful pictures, wakes up early, with the sunrise, but the sonos can sleep a little bit longer. After breakfast we are going to the long drive of 360 km, most of the way we will pass on the highway. This day we will not only see the Caspian Sea, but also get to know it much closer. Our camp stands right on the shore of the crystal clear sea, among picturesque coquina stones and snow-white beaches, you can't believe that it can be here in the harsh steppes, but it's not a dream In plans: rest, swimming in the sea, sunbathing, exploring the coastline. We celebrate the sunset with the understanding that we are on the shore of the largest lake in the world, and after sunset photography we will have dinner, farewell campfire and final night in the tents under the rustling waves of the Caspian Sea.

Aktau

On the final day in the golden rays of the morning we create the final photo masterpieces. Those who are especially frost-resistant can go swimming again or just sunbathe.
