We had an amazing experience and were able to extend our tour with a private helicopter charter to Mt Everest - landing at Kalapathar. The owner Mani organised everything. We nicknamed him Magic Mani as he knew how to get things done. We highly recommend Mani and his company and thank him for an amazing experience.

Our group of ten booked an 8-day trip on Nepal and Bhutan with The Great Adventure Treks&Expedition-a local Nepal travel company-It's very nice experience. Mani, the owner of the company, is incredibly kind. He went out of his way to ensure our trip went smoothly. The itinerary he planned was perfect. What made this trip special was witnessing Nepal's Dashain Festival and Bhutan's Tshechu Festival, along with many amazing spots too.

I did the 8 day tour in Nepal and it was excellent. Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara. I added as an extra the flight through Everest that was phenomenal the best seat, and trekking with Nishan for a day with the sunrise. Mani's attention was very good, he was always in touch and it was important because I just got a monsoon. If you extend your stay in Nepal, it is recommended to ask Mani about extra activities. The people in your hotel 100% beautiful, friendly and always asked about your day to day. The hotel very clean as well as a rich breakfast. Super excellent car driver... Despite the plane/bus delays it was always there. The guide who played me the first day for kathmandu was perfect, he had a lot of knowledge and shared all his knowledge. Like the guide to Chitwan and the hotel there. Despite the rain I could appreciate crocodiles, birds, kingdoms and elephants. Namaste Mani!🙏🏻

I just completed the “8-Day Tour in Nepal” with The Great Adventure Treks. Pros: (1) The owner & operator (Mani) is very responsive & did ALL of the organizing for me (solo traveler). I just arrived in Kathmandu & he took care of the rest. (2) Included is a city tour of Kathmandu, a bus ride & visit to Sauraha (Chitwan National Park) & a domestic flight to Pokhara. Then for an extra cost ($106 usd) I opted for a 30-minute return flight from Pokhara back to Kathmandu (instead of taking the 7-8 hr bus back). Mani arranged the flight for me with <2 day notice. {As a side note (NOT related to this company), the domestic flights to & from Pokhara are often delayed, especially with Bhutan Airlines}. (3) At each location a guide and/or driver was ready & waiting for me. And they were all informative, competent & accommodating. (4) The 3-star hotels (that are included) were acceptable. They all had good views (especially in Pokhara) and excellent customer service. (5) On the 2nd day in Pokhara, the tour is only half-day, so I had plenty of time to roam the town, shop and dine on my own. (6) Also…. I did not know this at the time of my booking, but Mani can also arrange, organize tours, accommodations & visas in Bhutan & Tibet as well. Cons: (1) None

We did a custom private tour of Nepal via the Great Adventure Treks. It was easy to contact Mr. Mani via Whatsapp and plan the tour. Mr. Mani was very responsive on WhatsApp and helped us fine tune our initial itinerary. He made all the bookings as per our need and was checking with us everyday on the tour to see how it was progressing. The trip cost was very reasonable. We were quite happy with the service provided and we could cover all the places as planned. The hotels that Mr. Mani booked were all decent and had great location close to the attractions. The drivers all showed up on time and looked well rested and had good driving skills. They were all experienced and knew the local places.
